Guys, I just want to say a big, big thank you to the ones who have been here since the beginning, and a big thank you to the ones who found my book in the depths of wattpad somewhere.
Thanks guys, I love you so much ❤
But I am sad to say that this very chapter will be the last chapter to this book. I am, however, writing a sequel.
After much thinking, I have decided to write a sequel. This book won't have a sweet ending. It will end on a sad and bittersweet note.
And with that, I advise you to have tissues on standby. You will need them.
·Third Person·
After the party, Hermione thought it would be best to send Severus back to his own home and for her to stay with family. They wanted space before the wedding next week. Hermione picked out a simple dress, nothing too fancy. She didn't want it to be a huge event. She knew her time was coming, even if it was sooner than expected. Severus had no idea how sick she actually was, and she had no plans on telling him.
She was living everyday the best she could. Even if that meant wearing a Glamour to hide the fact that, despite being eight months pregnant, you could still see her spine and her hip bones.
She was slowly dying. And there was nothing anyone could do about it.
·Hermione·
"Mum, can we move up the wedding date? I want to get this whole wedding over with so I can focus on the baby." I lied through my teeth.
"Of course, honey!" My mum said. I pulled out my phone and dialed Severus' number. He picked up after the first ring.
"Hello, is everything okay?" He asked quickly.
"Yes, I'm fine. I just wanted to tell you that we're moving the wedding up to tomorrow instead of Thursday. I just want to get it over with and focus more on the baby." I said.
"That's okay, dear. I understand completely." He said in a calming voice.
"Okay, well I have to go and make sure everything is ready." I lied.
"Okay. I love you." He said.
"Love you more."
"Love you most." He finished. I hung up and went to my room. I laid on the bed and quickly felt sleep consume me.
Wedding Day
·Severus·Today is the day. I finally get to marry the love of my life. To get to make her my first priority. And to make sure our child will have the best life possible.
I start the countdown, only two more hours. Two more short, short hours.
*le time skip two hours later*
"It's time, professor." Said my best man, Harry Potter.
"Already? I thought this time would never come." I said, letting out a chuckle. We made our way to the end of the aisle.
We decided to get married next to the Willow. It's the only place Hermione felt was magical enough.
Ten minutes after I got here, I heard the start of the music. It was finally time.
When I finally saw her, I think my heart stopped. My world stopped turning. My breath stopped, and I was frozen. She was beautiful. She was right next to me before I knew it.
"Hello." She whispered.
"My dear." I said, kissing her hand.
"Treat her well, son." Her father said. And with a kiss on her cheek, he left.
