The Lady's Choice (An R5 Fanfic)

Chapter 2: May I Help You?

So here I am, getting ready to fly on a plane for 800 light years with my cousin Jamie. Why did I agree to this?

"DON'T FORGET YOUR INHALER!!!"My mom hollered.How could I? I've had Asthma since I was 6. I hollered back "OKAY!" and turned to search for my phone. Most adolescents my age keep of with their phones because its always glued to their face.But for me, its quite the contrary. I'm always loosing it because after I finish talking on it or texting, I either put it to charge or leave it somewhere. Now, I needed it to listen to some music. I finally found it under my bed and scrolled through the music. I passed Tyler the Creator, The 1975, Frank Ocean, All Time Low, Lorde, Chance the Rapper, Hopsin, and even Aventura until I reach R5. Might as well, I thought to myself. Next thing I know,all I hear is:

"In the back of a Taxicab one quick turn you were on my lap..."

I kind of really liked this song so I sang along to it. It was funny because my voice fit right into it.As I sang, I picked out clothes to wear.I found my favorite neon yellow hoodie and some blue jeans to wear with it. I looked like a highlighter, but hey? Who's looking?I got out my neon yellow converses and slid them on over my neon yellow and white,long, Nike socks that I pulled over my pants. I loved my style. New York had something else coming their way. I topped it off with a white beanie and a neon yellow scarf. By then the song ended and I was packed and ready to go.Roll out, I sang in my head.

*At the Airport*

"I, Leilani Walker, solemnly swear to protect Jamie, spend money wisely( even though you gave me $3,000), and 'have fun'." I said. At the last part I used my fingers as quotation marks.I hugged my parents and my aunt and took my cousin's hand.

"I love you!" My mother said with tears in her eyes.

"I love you more!" I said smiling.

"I love you most." She said as a tear dropped from her eye. My father wrapped a loving arm around her and waved as we walked towards the nearly empty metal detectors. Gotta Love my family.

*On Board of the Plane*

"OH MY GOSH LEILANI!!!LOOK WHO'S SITTING NEXT TO US!!!!!" Jamie half whispered, half screamed in my ear. I adjusted the Beats around my neck and side glanced at the seats around us. There were 2 brownies and 3 blondes placing their bags above us. I couldn't see their faces, so I didn't understand the excitement. We were in first class, so anything could happen. I avoided staring so I nodded and looked down at my book. I put the Beats on to block out noise. I then saw a muscular blonde boy about 2 years older than me sit next to me. My cousin stared wide-eyed. I brushed it off and continued reading. We still had about 10 minutes until taking off. I then caught a woman and a man who looked like parents sit in front of us. I didn't think much of it and continued reading. The beats became irritating so I took them off and put in the chair pouch in front of me.

"What are you reading?" Someone said in my ear. It made me jump. " Didn't mean to scare you. Sorry."

I blushed slightly and said " Its called Galilee. And don't worry about it. " He stared into my eyes for a minute and he seemed strangely familiar. Once I realized, I smacked my forehead with the heal of my palm. "OH! Your Ross Lynch!! From R5!" He nodded and smiled a wide goofy smile. It made me chuckle. "There's someone I'd like you to meet." I turned around to see Jamie gawking at me. I ushered her to the aisle and told her to introduce herself. Ross was first to speak.

"Hey. I'm Ross. What's your name?"

"J-j-j-j-j-jamielex. Y-you c-can call me J-jamie." She stammered. I mouthed she's nervous and he nodded his head at me.

"You must be an R5 fan" He said casually. You could tell by her fan-girl R5 gear. I muffled a laugh as she stood there staring as if he were Jesus. He told her to go talk to the other band members and she sauntered off to meet her favorite: Rocky.

"I forgot to tell you. I'm Leilani; Leilani Walker." I stuck my hand out to shake but instead, since we were standing, he grabbed it and pulled me into a hug. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him as tight as he hugged me. I let go first, and he had a late reaction. I sat back in my seat and picked up my book again to read. Ross put his elbows on the arm rest and stared at me. "Uh... May I help you?"I asked.
