It was close to 10pm when I walked to Joshes house with my backpack full of clothes, we had all planned to meet at his place before going to the Blue Badlands to spend a night. Naturally, I was jumping with excitement, since having our own secret spot, secluded from the public, would help me hide from the commoners and police. It's completely secluded. I didn't bother knocking because Josh gave me a key about a month ago, I've been here so often that I can't sleep in my own bed anymore. I walked in and went to the lounge, straight away I saw Josh, Ariana, Ashley and Troye chatting about who knows what on the couch. Josh quickly got up and jogged over to me.
"hey babe." he said, kissing my cheek and wrapping his arm around my waist. I scrunched up my nose in embarrassment as the others awed.
"God that makes me miss Justin." Ariana pouted, talking about her boyfriend who lives in LA.
"We should all go up there and visit him for a week, the school break is coming up in a few weeks we can go then!" said Ashley as troye nodded his head in agreement.
As we all continued to talk about LA when Brendon, Marina and Lana came in holding their backpacks and a suspicious looking paper bag (which obviously had multiple bottles of alcohol in it). We all got up from the couch and walked to the front lawn where Josh, Ashley, Troye and I went in Josh's car while the other went in brendon's car. We began following Brendon down the road, past the school and out into the forbidden forest, we packed behind a few trees so the cops wouldn't see and began walking to the Blue Badlands with torches at hand at all times.
"So what exactly is the Blue-Badlands again?" Questioned Josh as he hardened his grip around me.
"It's an old abandoned theme park, that we customised and cleaned to our liking." said marina.
"Oh we're here, cover your eyes you too while we turn on the lights and machines!" squealed Ariana as she grabbed both my hands and placed them over my eyes.
I got a little sad when josh had to let go of me, I feel so secure in his strong arms. Plus, it's entertaining to outline his tattoos. We both covered our eyes and waited from the signal to open our eyes again. After about a minute, we heard a loud machine bang in the distance, then some quiet carousel music play.
"Okay!" we heard Brendon yell, I uncovered my eyes as did josh. Our jaw's dropped. To say it was amazing would be an understatement.
The entire park glowed with gold and blue lights. The games were all clean, the prizes got restocked. But the part that took my breathe away was the giant ferrets' wheel and spinning top. I immediately grabbed josh's hand and began running for the spinning top, I heard him chuckle loudly as I felt him pick me up gently, with one strong arm wrapped under my knees where my purple skirt dangled, with the other arm wrapped securely around my upper back. I stared at his deep, piercing eyes without realising.
His sweet smile making my heart melt. I felt like a bride as he walked up the metal steps and onto the ride. He placed me down gently and buckled my belt tightly, I smiled shyly at him realising this was our first true date. He sat next to me and held my hand as the ride started. I looked all around me dizzily as the sky spun around violently. I heard Josh lightly laugh at the ridiculous face I was making.
We got off the ride and walked hand in hand as I walked over to Troye, while josh sat next to Ariana and Lana. I began talking to troye separately since I've known him the longest.
"Hey troye, What's up?" I asked as he played with his rainbow bracelet nervously.
"I want to come out to every one to night, but I don't want to be kicked out of the group because of my sexuality, I just don't want to get bullied and-" I put both my hands on his shoulder cutting him off.
"Troye, everybody here will support you, I promise. If they don't I'll stab em real quick, ok?"
He laughed as if it was a joke, which made me chuckle deviously under my breath.
"Okay... I'm ready." he smiled slightly jumping up and down. he pulled out his phone and clicked on our group chat, he typed 'Everyone meet at the Fun house. BIG NEWS!'
We all made our way to the fun house where we had put in several beds and shit like that, basically we made it into a house with about five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lounge room. Troye and I walked in, he sat on the couch next to Marina while I ran over and sat on Josh's lap. When the other's arrived I gave troye a small smile and nod before he began his 'speech'.
"I-I guess I better get to the point." he said as he stared at the ground, tapping his foot rapidly.
"I-I'm-m... G-G...gay." He said before putting his hands over his face and breathing heavy.
The room was silent.
"Troye... why were you so nervous?" Ariana said sweetly rubbing his back.
"Because I didn't want t-to loose my only friends. I-I didn't want to be bullied because of my sexuality." He sighed, tears staining his face.
"Troye, we all support you, no matter what. Remember our pact? we all promised to accept everybody unless they don't support other's. And no body here discriminates anything, Lesbians, gay's, Tran's, people of colour. Everybody belongs in the blue-Badlands." Brendon said seriously. Troye smiled lightly and then turned to the table and grabbed one of the red cups of alcohol.
"Cheer's to the blue-Badlands... Where we all belong." he said raising the cup in the air, we followed him.
