Pretty when I cry ~ Neon Pink Diner

~ A/N This is gonna be very short because the video at the end is pretty much exactly whats happens. Also, the blonde/pink haired girl in the video is playing the part of Melanie, Enjoy! ~

The radio sung softly as I drove in the night. It was a month later, a month since I've seen my friends. I miss them. I traveled out of country, visited relatives, made thousands of friends who I unfortunately couldn't take along with me for that long. I visited at least four towns too. I was healthy, mentally and physically. Frankly, I'm the happiest I've ever been. I wasn't too far away from town, but I had one more stop. An old man named Gary, who my father was friends with during high school, invited me to head to his diner. I would be by myself unfortunately, but at least I visited.

I pulled into the parking lot, the entire thing was lit up beautifully with bright neon pink lights. I walked in, it was empty like he said. I placed my bag on the table and looked around, there was a delicious looking sunday with a cherry on-top. It had a note next to it.

Dear Melanie,

I made this for you, it's a strawberry and chocolate swirl milkshake with a cherry on-top. Your favourite! or at least from when you were nine. I also have a little surprise for you, check the Music-box!

I smiled at the cute little note, he was like a second dad to me. i took a sip of the milkshake, it was delicious and bittersweet. just like how he use to make it. I walked over to the music-box, The first opinion was the surprise, it made my heart warm. It was an old recording from when I was sixteen, he recorded me singing my favourite song. I played it, as soon as I heard the first beat I began to dance, swaying my hips from left to right. Dancing under the neon pink.

I smiled widely. This was the best part out of the whole trip. But that didn't change the fact I wanted to see my friends faces more than anything, especially Josh's. I missed his smile the most.

I just danced in the neon pink diner all night.
