I wake up hitting my head on the bunk above me as my brother Percy keeps on sleeping in the bunk next to mine. As I sit there lying in bed I can't help but wonder what that dream meant.
(Flash back)
As I sit near the bottom of the steps of the steps with the king above us and the new dragon rider facing me and my sister I can't help but wonder if we will live long enough to see our parents again. Just as I think that Galbatorix says that Eragon and Murtagh will fight. As they fight me and my sister cower in the corner and it passes very quickly then before we can react an explosion lights up the room and I feel it blow apart the room around us. After everything calms down I notice that the only person missing is Galbatorix. As me and my sister are brought back to our parents I quickly realized why Galbatorix was missing. It was because he had been the one to explode. I don't know how it happened, but there is no other explanation for it.
(Flashback end)
As I lay there in bed I believe I hear the flapping of dragon wings way off in the distance. They sound about a mile or so outside of the camp borders. I decide that even though it's past curfew I should go check it out to make sure the camp isn't under attack, it may be after the giant war, but there is no harm in being to careful.
As I walk out of the cabin Percy wakes up and looks at me. It takes him a second to wake up. Seeing me fully dressed he quickly shot out of bed. He asked "Where are you going bro. You know the harpies are out there and you'll get in trouble if you head out now."
"Yeah I know, but I heard something and it sounded like monsters are outside of camp."
After that sentence he was dressed and ready to go with me in a matter of minutes.
Time break
As we reach the road outside of camp both of us with swords drawn and ready to attack and defend ourselves we see smoke in the sky about half a mile away we quickly get ready to face whatever would be there. We get right up to the camp and hide in the bushes on the out skirts of the light from the fire. Percy holds up his hand and counts down from three. When he hits one we charge out and are instantly frozen. . .
