Hey y'all here is the next chapter. Who is ready for summer?

Mikes POV

As I charged him I threw my sword at him. As it spiraled blade over hilt towards his chest I shadow traveled behind him leaving a water clone of myself so that it looked like I was still in front of him. When he blocked my sword as I expected I made a sword out of the water in the air and tapped him on the back with the edge and said, "I win" Then he did something I wasn't expecting. Instead of surrendering like I was expecting, he turned as fast as he could and slashed at me with Brisingr. Luckily my reflexes were fast enough that I stopped his blade and just as quickly had pushed him back and started attacking him with quick jabs toward his left side, the side that his sword wasn't on, but again he shocked me and quickly changed hands and started blocking my attacks doing just as well defending himself with his left hand as he was with his right. At that time when I was completely focused on the duel I felt a strange pressure on my mind, but I ignored it and continued to attack Eragon. When we pulled apart after a set of quick and dangerous blows I smiled and pulled my sword out of my pocket again. This must have surprised him seeing as I had lost it at the beginning and had been fighting with my ice sword since, but what was even better was the fact that I was duel wielding them. I had never tried this before, but when I had both in my hand I felt like that was the way I was meant to fight. It felt natural and I felt like my body was balanced perfectly instead of leaning to one side. As soon as Eragon saw that I had pulled out my blade the pressure on my mind lessened enough that I felt a tendril of though and followed it back to Eragon. I smiled and as I attacked him physically again I also jabbed at his mind. He flinched and raised his sword, but I felt his mind pull in on itself as if he was trying desperately to block me out. I looked at him at kept up my barrage of attacks both physically and mentally, until finally I broke through his barriers in his mind and also had him in a beaten position. He smiled, but he did it grudgingly and said, "Congratulations Michael. It is no small accomplishment to beat me, but there are many things which we should talk about, especially concerning where you learned to fight like that and as well as to where you learned to attack with and defend your mind so well." I nodded and said, "Well honestly I have never had any training in attack and defense of my mind, and as for the sword fighting well I learned at camp. You see since we are children of gods, monsters can smell our blood, and apparently it smells good so camp teaches us to be able to use a sword so that we don't end up dead." He nodded, but a questioning look appeared on his face. "How have you not been trained in attack and defense of your mind? There is no way you couldn't have been. The amount of control you have rivals that of every dragon in Alegasia. In fact when you attacked my mind it was so strong that I have only felt that out matched a hand full of times. Once was when I faced Durza, another is when I faced Voroug, and the final time was when I faced Galbatorix. Michael you don't even realize how strong you are, in fact I bet you could hold you own and win against a shade. Which if I were you I would not try even with your abilities. I don't know if it is a blessing from the gods, or if it is just a natural side-effect of having two dragons. Speaking of dragons, you have not named yours yet have you?" I shook my head to show that no I haven't named them, and said, "no I haven't named them yet. One problem is, is that I don't know any dragon names, the second is, is that I don't know their genders so it is kind of hard to do so until I do." "well that is an easy one, just reach towards their minds and look they will show you or we could ask Saphira to do so, either way they need names, because we can't just keep referring to them as the blue one and the gold one." I smiled and drew myself in but quickly sought out the two minds that were connected to mine through something that was unbreakable. I knew without a doubt that when they were bigger they would always be there to protect me. As I reached out I quickly found them and looked through their minds until I heard, "Michael" it was from two voices at the same time, but I could not tell where they were from. "Michael I jumped and looked around me surprised as the two voices spoke again. Then a thought passed between the dragons and me and I knew instantly it was the two dragons that were speaking to me. "Michael." I smiled especially because my dragons had just spoken for the first time. Now that I knew who was speaking I was able to better differentiate between the two voices. One was a deep bass rumble and the other was deep, but not nearly as deep and as I looked through their minds to tell their gender I noticed that the green-blue one had a sort of music running through it. And the bronze one had a certain animalistic quality as if it were getting ready to go in for a kill. It was at this moment that I realized that the bronze one is a male because of the way that his mind was more towards doing what was needed, and I also realized that the blue-green one was a female. I smiled and pulled my mind back into myself so that I could speak with Eragon. "I have found it and it is kind of funny how I didn't notice it before, but the bronze one is male, and the blue-green one is a female." "Congratulations, now for the names would you like me to try to suggest some, or would you like to try to figure some out yourself?" "well let me think for just a second." He nodded and let me go off by myself to think. After sometime two names popped into my head. I said them to make sure that they would sound good. Then I said them again just to reassure myself. I hoped the dragons would like them. I looked at the bronze one and asked in my mind, "are you Istalri-Slytha?" the joy he felt at that name was extreme almost to the verge of ecstasy. Good one down one more to go. I turned to the blue-green one and asked, "And are you Kveykva-Deyja?" Her joy at the name was almost equal to that of Istalri-Slytha's joy. When I have gotten the approval of the dragons I turned to Eragon. As I did so I told the dragons to come stand beside me one on each side. "Eragon let me introduce you to Istalri-Slytha, and Kveykva-Deyja." I smiled as I pointed to each one, but lost it when Eragon's face turned into a frown. "Michael, do you know what those names mean?" I shook my head and said, "no I don't know what they mean. They just kind of popped into my head." Eragon looked troubled, but said, "Istalri-Slytha means fire sleep, and Kveykva-Deyja means lightning Death. These names alone have no meaning except now they are your dragons names, but what I am trying to say is that your brain must be able to naturally know the ancient language." I nodded, but then what he said struck me. I should naturally be able to know it and that means that when I start learning how to work magic I should be able to do it without having to learn the ancient language from scratch. I smiled, and asked "how is this possible, I know that I would learn the ancient language and all, but I don't understand how I can come up with those names without knowing it." Eragon nodded and said, "yes this is quite curious, and we will figure out why." Just then both Istalri-Slytha and Kveykva-Deyja came up to us and sat in my lap. When they were settled Saphira spoke up, 'Yes hatchlings you are most likely correct to assume that this is the case.' I looked at her and was about to ask who she was talking to, but before I could Kveykva-Deyja spoke loud enough that Eragon would be able to hear her through his mental barrier, 'we dragons have come up with a solution to the problem you have asked. We believe that when the gods blessed Michael here they also gave him the ability to learn any language without difficulty.' I looked at her with a sort of reverie because my dragons had found a solution that me and Eragon had not even considered. I smiled and said, "I hope they get bigger soon. It is difficult to care both of them in my jacket. And the fact that I will be able to fly with them would be awesome."

That night when we were eating and drinking with Roran and his family I felt a strange disturbance. It felt like I was in danger. The more I thought about it the more sure I felt that indeed something was amiss. In a lull in the conversation I spoke up. "Eragon, Roran, I know that you may not believe me, but there is something wrong here. I have this feeling that something that shouldn't be here is here. And I feel like I am the target and reason as to why this mysterious danger is here." Just as I said that I heard a roar. Not one from a dragon, but one that every demigod knew too well. It was the roar of a monster that was on a demigod's scent. I quickly sent out a tendril of thought to look for the creature, and warn my two dragons and Saphira as well. As soon as I felt it I dry swallowed and quickly pulled back into myself. I looked at Eragon and Roran and said, "Excuse me, but I have to go there is danger here, and you might want to get to somewhere safe. So far as I know I am the only one who will be able to deal with this threat for right now." Eragon nodded, but Roran looked like he would rather argue, but instead of giving him the chance I took off down the hall way, pulling out my sword, Maelstorm, and took off to find where I had felt the presence of the monster. When I reach outside I felt Istalri-Slytha and Kveykva-Deyja flying above me circling and watching. What I didn't notice is that they were helping me by feeding me energy, and also looking for where the sound came from. When I saw the clearing I put on just a quick burst of speed and found myself face to face with the Minotaur. I smiled and thought about water searching for anything that I could use against the creature. In the end there was none nearby, but I just used the next best thing, my sword. I charged with my sword hanging low in order that I would not hurt myself as I charge. When I was close enough I slid underneath him, and popped up on the other side swinging my arm in a back handed blow, and slicing him in half and turning him to dust. One question kept coming into my mind. How did it get here, and what else are coming soon.

Hey yall so I think im about to get into the actual story a little bit, before now it has been all set up on how Michael has gotten here, but don't worry I think you will like the way I am going to go with this story.
