Tear was perch on a ledge that was closest to Mother and Bamboo was on her right. As soon we came into the cave, my paws touch the stone floor, which was colder than before we had left. I nearly slammed into Regina (who is in front of me) because I don't really like the cold. I dropped the carcass in the middle of the cave and I told Mother everything.

"Oh! How delightful!" Mother squealed with excitement.

A little Polar Bear cub with deep black eyes that matches coal, was sitting next to Velox.

You see Velox and Pola (the Polar cub) are best friends and one time Velox had said "If he becomes rex then Pola will be his advisor", which is still set in stone.

"Good nightfall, Pola" The Gems sang as they walked to Velox and Pola to sit.

Pola is the daughter of Bamboo, by the way.

"Good nightfall!" Pola roared as she flopped on to her back rolling now on the floor.

The long hair and Arctic Wilds will love this tempus.

"Rex," Mother said waiting for me to sit down. So I sat and she continued on.

"I've been thinking," She paused and looked at me with a little uncertainty in her eyes.

What have I done now? I thought to myself.

"Rex?" Mother said again staring at me with her yellow eyes and me trying to avoid eye contact with my Mother.

"Yes?" I said as I watched the ground.

"You may be a Royal Bengal." She said as I lifted my head up to see her face. Then I noticed that everyone was staring at me, which made me feel unconformable.

Oh joy! I thought in sarcasm.

"I know I should be happy, Mother but I much rather be a Warrior." I explained but just like before, we had this same conversation, she gave me the look that had reminded me what she said which was 'if you bare the crest, it's not your choice'.

Mother continued on as a gust of wind blew the nix into the cave.

"Oh, the nix!" Yelled Tear, who doesn't mind the cold but hates how the nix always builds up in his nest.

"Mother," Regina said trying to remain calm. Mother looked at her. "You said 'never a Royal is born alone.'" Meaning born with no litter.

Mother replied with,

"Yes, you're correct but I have also told you about the Tale of the Twin Royals, didn't I?"

"It's True?!" Pilosus asked as he jumped to the sound of the name.

The Tale of the Twin Royals was a tale about twin cubs baring the crest of Panthera but one brother wanted to rule by himself and killed his twin. In the end his cousin who borne 3 cubs (one had the crest), killed him and she took rain till her cub could rule.

"Yes it is." Mother told Pilosus looking pleased that he remembered the tale.

She looked at me again but something grabbed her attention to the front way, a Osprey named Pandion had came flying in. He has black and white feathers with yellow eyes.

"Queen!" He screeched in a exotic voice. "Cl-aws returns, he is at Latra River as we speak!" He gasped trying to catch his breath. Then he flew back outside.

Everyone but me and my siblings gasped for some reason.

"Oh no! Not again!" Tear yelled. "What are we going to do? Roseis, Pet! What are we going to do?"

Weird Tear is not usually afraid of anything. So I guess it's something good.

"Rosy, I have to tell you something." Bamboo said with she voice shaking as she place her paw over Mother's. Mother stared at Bamboo.

"Your brother, he has the DNA!" Bamboo confess very loudly.

"What!" Tear said speaking up for Mother while Mother was still staring at Bamboo. Tear had started to curse in the human tongue.

"Tear, calm down! Rex doesn't need your lessons!" Mother said knowing I could understand everything that Tear had said. "Please continue." Mother asked Bamboo as Tear settle down.

"They gave him the DNA, several months before you came," Bamboo started as she paused and watched the ground for a moment. "But it wasn't like mine, Rosy or even Forest experience. When the understanding and the DNA are combined it can be unstable or completely fine but me and Rosy are the only sane survivors." She paused and took a deep breath. "Forest's body had absorbed it but his brain rejected it and it had drove him mad. Claws was the opposite, his brain had absorbed it but his body didn't and his body grew 4 times his regular size." Bamboo had finally met Mother's eyes and said. "Sorry Rosy." And once again dropped her head.

As Mother talked to Bamboo. I noticed that Regina's face, that face. She knows something, so I pounced on her and tackled her to the ground.

"Regina!" "Queen!" "Little Pardus!" Mother, Bamboo and Tear cried as I pinned Regina to the floor.

Regina was struggling but I had pinned her well to the stone floor. Tear had tried to get me to release by clawing my head. Mother and Bamboo just stared at me trying to see if Regina needs help or I just tackled her for fun. I place my paws on her chest and I stared into her eyes.

"TELL! I know you're hiding something! Now TELL!!" I barked at her.

"Let go!" She whimpered and I did but I didn't let her tail just in case she runs.

"Fine!" She said looking at me then turned her head to Mother. "Azure, the daughter of Falco, came to me one day and said 'A giant Tiger with yellow eyes is near and coming for Roseis and the next Royal.' But she flew off before I could even ask who? What? Why?" She stared at Mother. "I'm sorry, I didn't tell you."

I let go of the soft spot on her tail and Regina curled her tail tightly around her paws.
