Chapter 8; The meeting part 2

"You're kidding me?" Tear cried. "This is the great Tempestatis and Procella. The one is blind!" Tear laughed

Procella, the Thylacine pounced on Tear.

She smiled. "I may be blind but I can feel and hear!" Procella barked.

The Fossa with yellow eyes spoke up, "Don't mess with little Procella." He laughed. "She has a temper. I'm Tempestatis, but some call me Temp for short." Tempestatis said with a nod.

Amaze, I couldn't remove my eyes from Tempestatis, he is so young (well the Gems age). I was starting to feel guilty about dragging him and Procella into our family fight but I didn't reveal my thoughts to Rex or the others.

So instead, I nudged Rex and said to him. "Just like you." He smiled for the first time today.

"Stay tonight but at first light you must leave." Silva said with a smile.

Terra had showed us where we can sleep, so we slept by the little pond with pink flowers surrounding it.

I had a strange dream about a White Tigress with an odd gem around her neck and right before I woke up, I saw a Native with a similar gemstone. Then I woke up to Velox and Pilosus nudging me, so I couldn't see any more detail about the Native.

I woke up being quite annoyed because ever since Tear said 'a true regina' to me, i've been having dreams. "Yes?" I asked Velox and Pilosus.

I looked up to the midnight sky and I seen the moon at mid-sky.

Pilosus looked nervous. "Rex said it's best to go now." He told me.

I noticed that everyone else was up and awake. I guess Rex wanted me to sleep a little bit more. "Rex, what is going on?" I hissed as I leap from my current position.

Tempestatis was at my side with Procella on his other side.

"Pilosus told me that he heard something. So it's best to leave while we're alive." Rex said to me then turned to Tempestatis and Procella. "You can stay if you want."

"No way!" Procella laughed. "You think we're going to watch this adventure happen?" Procella asked but I don't think she's looking for an answer.

Then Tempestatis smiled and said. "We're in this together!"

My siblings roared in agreement.

Pola and the Gems noticed something.

"Where's Tear?" Adamas and Pola sang in chorus as they started to search.

"I told Tear to check on Mother." Rex confess looking rather guilty. "What Tear is Mother's Warrior!" He hissed noticing our stare.

"We don't have a guide now!" Yelled Catellus and Feles. Mel just kept quiet looking scared.

A shrill cry came from the trees. We all search the trees till a voice came from them making us to look up and we saw Azure, daughter of Falco.

"I come to help." Azure said proudly while we all smile. Her yellow eyes glowed in the darkness.

We left the Desert as the sun rose. We made it to Canis Forest but someone, someones were waiting for us. A group of different species were gathered in the front way of the Forest. Midnight, the black wolf came forward.

"Tornado had left when we heard the roar. Most of the pack went with him." Midnight paused and turned her head towards the other Wilds. "Crescent, my son, Magister the Green Peacock, Ars the Red Fox and Rotundus the common Vampire Bat." She turned to Rex. "I heard he's your chosen Seeker?" She asked my brother.

Rex turned to Rotundus and said. "One of three." Then he lifted his head towards the sky and said. "If any of you have any kind of fear, stay, but if you have courage come."

All the younglings nodded which had brought a smile to Rex's face.

"Where to next?" I asked Rex.

Everyone stared at him.

"We need to keep moving untill we meet the coast of Pardus and on the way we'll get more Warriors."

Someone from the pack spoke up.

"We're not Warriors and you are not a rex yet?" Someone questioned.

"We are now." Rex said.
