I quickly ran in the restroom of the restaurant and changed into my work uniform. If my dad ever found out that I was a waitress at Hooters he’d drag me by my hair out of this place. I tossed my jeans and t-shirt into my black book bag and placed the bag in the break room. Surprisingly it wasn’t busy today, it would usually be busy with a bunch of old men on their lunch breaks sitting around drinking beers and starring all of us girls down.

“You’ll wait tables 18 through 23.” I gave my manager a simply nod and grabbed the apron that had my name tag placed on it and began my regular duties.

It didn’t take long for a group of guys to be seated at one of the tables I was assigned to wait.

“How are you?” I greeted them, and they all spoke in unison and the only thing I hear was one guy saying “sup”.

“I know you.” My eyes darted to one of the guys that was seated in a chair directly next to me. It was the guy from the gym, Sandy’s brother.

“Yeah, the guy from the gym.” I smiled. “I forgot your name, sorry.”

The five guys laughed, and I took in all of their appearance. They looked like trouble.

“It’s Harry.” The look he gave me sent chills through my body, he had on a plain black t-shirt with the sleeves rolled slightly showing off his muscles. His hair was slicked back away from his face.

“That’s Niall.” A rather pale guy, with blonde hair although you couldn’t really see it due to the hat he had covering his head.

“Louis.” This guy looked more tranquil from the rest. His eyes were blue and he dressed preppy. By the eye roll he gave me I could already tell that he was an ass.

“Zayn and Liam.” They both were wearing dark sunglasses with jean jackets except Liam’s had the sleeves cut out. Zayn had a cigarette sparked, and Liam had one behind his ear.

The introduction of Harry and all of his friends was quite pleasing and surprisingly they were nicer than they look. I took their order and they all had at least five rounds of beer delivered to their table. When they had finished their food I almost didn’t want them to go. I enjoyed the company of the five  guys and for once I was smiling and having a good time. Between Harry and his horrible jokes, Niall and his obnoxiously cute laugh, and Zayn and his pleads for Harry to shut up and stop embarrassing him I could honestly say that these five guys were characters.

Harry intended on faking his birthday so that myself and the rest of the Hooters girl could sing him happy birthday in the center of the restaurant but, I couldn’t due to how busy it was. I promised the next time that I would and he made me repay him by walking them outside. When the wind hit me, I stretched regretting taking up his offer.

“Thanks, for entertaining us.” Harry spoke as I held the door open for him.

“No problem.”

“I’d really like if you came to the gym tomorrow, and let me train you. I promise I’m better than my sister.” His eyes were wide, and I wasn’t sure if he was nervous or just really determined to get his point across

“Is that just your excuse for you to see me again?” I questioned and the smile that was marked across my face could not be erased.

“Maybe.” He winked and lightly patted me on my back before walking to his car.
