She ran away.
She ran out the door, bringing only her phone and leaving Sean helpless in Dark's arms.Dark muttered curses under his breath. He ran after Amy after knocking Sean out by banging his head on the floor.
Sean's head was spinning. Round and round and round up to the point he felt like his head was about to fall off. All he could let out from his lips was a little whisper. "Help."
Amy ran for her life. She had no idea where to. Dark was only a few feet behind her, a vicious, merciless face plastered on. Amy let a few tears slip, she couldn't help it.
'I miss Mark.'
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a public bathroom. She had a sudden idea and rushed towards it, locked herself in. Desperate banging repeated endlessly on the door. She gasped for air. Dialed the police, and cried. Cried and cried. Cried so much that she felt dehydrated. All she had to do was wait.
Wait for the sound of sirens.
The banging stopped. "Huh," she whispered. She slowly opened the door, and peeked. Nobody was there.
She stepped out, looking around. 'Where is he?' She thought.
Right after that, everything she screamed was muffled. Everything she saw was pitch black. She couldn't move.
"I got you now."
Sean woke up, feeling terrinle. Looked behind him, looked everywhere but resulted to him being alone.
'Yes.'
He was gonna run for it, but Dark bursted through the door with a knocked out blonde girl on his shoulders.
"I know somewhere inside you, there's an evil spirit. Locked away in a cage. Dying to go out." He muttered.
"No, there isn't." Sean fought back.
"There is. Look at what happened to your friend-" He motioned to himself, "-Mark? He couldn't fight me. He was weak, helpless and stupid." Sean felt enraged. How dare he say that about his best friend? But at the same time, he felt, for the first time, anxiety creeping up.
His hand reached for the knife.
Closer, and closer, and closer. Just as he was about to grab it..."SNAP OUT OF IT, SEAN!" Amy's voice made Sean drop the knife and jump. "What did I- What just- what- WHAT HAPPENED?!" Sean stuttered while panting. "I don't know, some 'evil' force or something took over you, I guess." Amy shrugged. Sean looked confused. "Anyway, Dark isn't here night now." Amy said. Sean's face lightened up. "A chance for me to escape," he whispered to himself. "But it's not good." Amy looked nervous. Sean raised a brow, confused.
"He's out for Signe now."
