Chapter 2

Alyssa's POV:

I wake up to Kelly yelling in my ear.

"Lyss! Get up!"

"Ugh, five more minutes."

"No, mom made breakfast and told me to wake you up!"

"Well I'm up so you can leave now."

"Get up!"

"Oh my god. Okay. Leave. I'll be down in half an hour."

"Finally."

After she left I went to take a quick shower. I got out with 5 new texts from Jack.

"Morning!"

"Did you ask yet?"

"HELLOOOO"

"Someone can't handle staying up late"

"WAKE UP!!!"

I texted him back telling him I was in the shower and I was about to go ask.

I walked into my bedroom that was connected to my bathroom. I changed into a pair of skinny jeans and a blue pocket tee that has a Aztec pattern on the pocket that matches perfectly with my green eyes. Along with that I chose to wear a pair of maroon vans and a maroon beanie. My beanie sits on top of my natural wavy brown hair.

After I was dressed I put on my usual light makeup, brushed my teeth and headed down stairs.

"You said half an hour, you took like 200 hours!" Kelly said to me.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." I said grabbing 2 pancakes and putting them on my plate.

My phone buzzed to Happily by One Direction when I received a text from my best friend Vienna who moved 3 hours away last year.

"WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME YOU WERE MOVING??!!!"

Shit.

"Sorry V. I meant to text you last night!! I fell asleep when I was about to!" I lied. Well, it wasn't a complete lie but I kinda forgot to tell her.

"I had to find out on twitter :( "

Find out on twitter? I hadn't posted the new video or tweeted anything about me moving. I only told Jack I had exciting news.

"How'd you find out on twitter?"

"Jack tweeted it! FaceTime me later I need to hear everything!!"

"Oh. Okay byeee and yes we need to catch up! I have so much to tell you!!"

Vienna is also a YouTuber, she actually came along with me when we met all those other YouTubers at Digi. She's a beauty guru though. I make funny type videos and she makes beauty. We knew eachother before YouTube and she's really the only friend that I've actually been able to keep since my YouTube took off. Everyone always just used me to get follows or something from another YouTuber which is why have friends who are YouTubers is so much easier.

My YouTube was always kinda popular but it took off drastically ever since I made a collab with Connor Franta when we met. Apparently they'd all been checking out my videos and Connor dmed me on twitter that he wanted to make a collab when they were coming to Toronto. So of course I agreed and ever since we posted the videos I've been gaining thousands of subscribers a day.

Me and Jack got along the best I think though. We kinda just clicked. He told me that when we see eachother again we had to collab.

But here is where the #jalyssa all started. We took a few selfies being the teenagers we are and tweeted them. Almost instantly #jalyssa was trending on twitter. It was crazy. We never actually talked to eachother about it but I think that we both liked eachother a bit and I think in the selfie you can tell we did. I still don't see it in the picture but I guess #jalyssa came from somewhere.

I was broken out of my daze when my mom asked me how the pancakes tasted.

"Good." I told her.

My phone buzzed again to the song Happily and after my mom said I need to stop using her credit card to buy iTunes songs I looked at my text. It was from Jack.

"Sooooo"

I completely forgot to ask where exactly we were living!

I texted him where exactly we were going to move after my mom told me exactly which town and he replied.

"Omg really? How ironic is it that that is my town!!"

"Are you joking? haha I feel like you're messing with me."

Then he said, "I guess you'll have to find out."

After that I checked twitter and saw the tweet Jack tweeted last night.

@thatsojack: OMG can't believe my girl @ItsAlyssa is moving to my state! So excited! Expect collabs!

Of course a few of the tweets back were "#jalyssa" and I got some hate saying they didn't like me and surprisingly Jack tweeted one of them back

@thats0jack: If you are a fan of mine then you will respect that I can be friends with girls that aren't you

I may have blushed a little..

I was creeping on my twitter timeline when I saw Ricky tweeted me and Jack again.

@RickyPDillon: @ItsAlyssa so you're gonna just come with @Thats0jack when y'all come to visit?

Jack had already replied.

@Thats0jack: @RickyPDillon she better! last time I flied to LA alone I got the middle seat. Not a fun flight.

Although I only met them in person once I felt like we knew eachother so well.

After I FaceTimed Vienna I fell asleep.
