Rin looked at me with a smile. I frowned at him. "Stop it, you're freaking me out."
He sighs and rolls back over to face the wall and laughed to himself.
So it ended up like this; I argued with him that I couldn't take his bed from him, so I slept on a mattress he dragged from his parents' house.
"I still don't know why you didn't want to sleep on the same bed you know..." he said, rolling over and dangling over the side to look at me.
I rolled towards him. His cerulean eyes shimmered in the moonlight, staring through my soul. It sent chills through my spine.
"I just...wanted to," I said, sitting up. I looked over at the clock on the wall. 12:25 p.m.
"What are you doing up, anyways?" I asked, yawning and rubbing my eyes.
He sat up too and stretched. "Couldn't sleep...I guess?" He replied.
Rin blinked at me a few times, before giving me a smile.
"I said stop smiling at me," I said, feeling annoyed.
"I can't get over how goofy you look in my dad's clothes. They're so big and you just look so...!" He didn't finish because he started a laughing fit.
I stood up and started slapping him so he could stop.
"Haha-ow! Ow..! Haha! Okay, oka--ouch!"
I continued slapping him as he squiggled around.
"Oka-oka-s..Stop!" He yelled as he was crying from laughing and he held my wrists tight, making me fall forward into his chest.
He was still trying to die his laughter down, making his chest bounce up and down as he snickered.
I looked up at him, because I couldn't breathe from my face in his chest, and he looked down at me, and stopped laughing.
We looked at each other for a while without saying anything. He was slightly bigger than me, and I, a small little stickman, was lying halfway on him, half off the bed, and my face almost down to his V-line.

.It really is a happy feeling to know that you've found out that you like someone. But it isn't a happy feeling when you find out that you're just friends.
And it all reminded me about my parents and the fire that happened years ago that killed them. Before I knew it, I was sobbing and burying my face into his shirt.
He had his hands on my head for a while, until he pulled me into a hug and whispered, "Everything's okay...now that I'm here..."
And I fell asleep.
.
.
.I woke up early in the morning, and I found that I was sleeping in Rin's lap still, with his arms draped loosely over me. Lucky for me, he was a heavy sleeper and it was easy to get off of him without him waking up.
I collected my school clothes and changed into them, and took a page from one of his books and started writing a note:
Hey Rin. Thanks for letting me stay the night. Whenever you wake up, I would be gone home by then. And in case you were wondering, I woke up at--
I looked at my watch.
--four o' clock. Again, thank you for everything. See you at school.
