Naruto: The Story Of Kenta

Sensei Shichirobei.

Kenta walked into the classroom that he had on his agenda. "Room 314" Kenta gingerly said to himself.

"That's right!" Kenta was startled by the outburst, he looked over to find the voice and found a man that appeared to be a chunin.

Character introduction:
Eto Shichirobei, 23
Grey short hair
Headband around forehead
Casual Chunin outfit
Brown eyes
Pale skin

"You must be Kenta Kato." Eto walked over to stand directly in front of Kenta.

Kenta was a little surprised that this guy knew who he was, never seeing this man in his life. "How do you know who I am?"

Eto laughed a little, "Jun Huyushi told me about you, that you're turning into a great prospect."

"Really? He said that?" Kenta couldn't remember even once being told by Captain Huyushi that he had become a prospect.

"Yep, now, why don't you find a seat. We should be getting started before too long." Eto motioned with his right arm to row of seats that were for the students and Kenta nodded, looking for his friend.

Kazuya was seated all the way up top in the back, and Kenta could only guess why. "Hey, Kazuya!"

Kazuya turned his head from his book to see Kenta approaching the seat next to him, "oh, hey Kenta, you're a little late huh?"

"What are you talking about?" Kenta plopped down next to Kazuya, patting his friend on the back.

"Well I showed up at least 30 minutes ago, and you're usually at events much quicker than me when it deals with ninja." Kazuya had a point there, but Kenta wasn't sure if he should tell Kazuya about his father investigating a murder.

"Well, my father brought me and we had to make a stop on the way here."

"Oh okay, you're mother still giving you a hard time?"

Kenta rolled his eyes and leaned back in his seat, "You have no ide-".

"Alright everyone, quiet down. Looks like all of my students have arrived." Eto said, closing the door to the classroom. There was still some chatter here and there but after a few seconds the room fell silent.

"Well," Eto made his way to the front of the room where he stood in front of a chalk board, "as most of you already know, I'm Eto Shichirobei and I will be your teacher here at the Academy."

"Any questions on what you'll be learning?" Eto asked.

A boy raised his hand and Eto pointed to the boy for him to answer.

Moto Kansuke, 10
Black eyes
Black spiky hair that stands up
Wears square glasses
Long black sleeve shirt with white trimming
Light green shorts
Ninja shoes

"My parents were concerned with the physical exam that we have to pass to continue on?" Asked Moto, seeming a bit nervous since he was the first kid to ask a question.

"Ah, yes," Eto rubbed his chin with his thumb and index finger, "For the remainder of this week we'll be having a small tournament, those that are eliminated from the first round will be asked to come back next semester. Then the rest of the tournament will be used to rank the students from best to worst. That should sum it up."

"Did you hear that? There's going to be a tournament!" Whispered Kenta, who couldn't wait to show off all of his hard work. He absolutely certain that he'd be the champ, after all no one else had the training that he did.

"Why would you ask a question when you're going to answer it yourself?" Asked Kazuya, who was also whispering. Not appearing to be even the slightest bit excited.

"Because I'm thrilled! Aren't you?"

Kazuya rolled his eyes, "Why would I be?"

"Because we're already getting to showcase our strength." Kenta pumped his arm mockingly showing off muscles.

"I think you forget that you're one of the few students who have had actual training."

Kenta sat back in his seat, the excitement leaving his body. "Aren't there training seminars every summer."

Kazuya couldn't help but laugh a little, "Yeah, there is. Heck even I went to a few. But do you think that actually compares at all to the training you've had?"

Kenta's facial expression dropped, "No, I guess not."

"Boys," Eto was looking the way of Kenta and Kazuya, "you'll have time to talk at lunch."

"Yes sir." Both of them said in response.

Hey everyone, I know that this was a shorter chapter but sometimes there's only so much I can squeeze into a chapter. Am I the only one who look at Kenta and Kazuya like Goten and Trunks?
