Chapter 33: Mitch's Main Plan

Skylar's P.O.V

"Let's see what he does." I nodded in agreement.

We'll finally know the reason..

Teen Sky shrugged his shoulders before walking back where he was before.

Past Mitch looked at his surroundings, trying to be sneaky before slowly walked over the other side of the bookshelf where Teen Sky is.

"What the.." I heard Seto muttered in confusion.

My eyes widened when Past's Mitch dropped a piece of paper when Teen Sky grabbed the Royal Rule Book.

I saw him raising his eyebrows before picking up the paper.

"Must have fallen off. I swear, dad needs to make a copy of this ancient books." He grabbed it in his hands before walking away, with the book in his arm.

I look back at Past's Mitch, which I saw him muttered a quick spell before he disappeared from our sights.

I gritted my teeth. "That bastard.."

"Come on, let's see what he has written in that paper." Seto says before dragging me carefully where Teen Sky at.

He's sitting in the chair, the book is in front of him before unfolding the page that he left.

"Marriage?" Skybrine wondered out loud before continuing to read.

"Every first born shall have arrange marriage when they turned age 18 to able to rule the kingdom. It should be a royal person, not a low class commoner to marry."

I clench my hands into fist. How dare he?! So that's why I always have royal friends, he's the reason why!

"Dad! Can you come here for sec?" Teen Sky called his father. Moments later, he came with confusion in his face.

"What is it?"

"So in order to become a king properly, I have to follow every rule that I've read right?" He nodded in agreement. "That is correct."

The yellow glowing eye boy look back at the paper in his hands. "Alright, I'll do what it takes to be like you, dad."

My grandpa smiled proudly. "You'll do great as a ruler, I know it."

"Seto?" I whispered at him, making him look at me.

"Yeah?"

"Let's go back now."

He squinted his brown hazel eyes at me before dragging me to where they can't hear us. "Are you sure? There's still-"

"I've seen enough.." I cut him off, looking at him as I sigh. "Everything made sense now.." I whispered while hugging myself. My back hit against the side of the wall as I slowly slide down until I hit the floor.

I finally understood everything..

Mitch made a fake rule.. Just to get his hands on me. He.. Just want the powers all to himself. The Kingdom, me.. Everything.
