Lost And Found // Jeon Jungkook Fanfic

Chapter 3

Gijeong's pov:

We were shocked by what we saw in front of us. I started to feel like fainting. There were trees in front of us. It was a forest. I felt like slapping Jungkook's face. He led me into this forest and expects me to cross the forest to the other side when it was so late at night. I was still wondering how his flashlight could work for such a long time. He looked at me and smiled.

"Just across this forest and we will be done. You will be able to go back to your human world."

I whined and and wanted to sit down because my legs were killing me. He grabbed me and pulled me up before my butt could even touch the floor. He pushed me into the forest and we walked in. I looked around me and saw trees shaped in a really weird shape. They looked like trees but with holes in them that looked like faces. I was really creeped out by their faces.
Looking at my creeped out face, Jungkook walked beside me. As we walked further into the forest, I could sense something weird was going on and there was someone looking me. From far, I could something moving. But when we reach that spot, there was nothing there. I started to feel insecure and unsafe. Just then, we saw a sign, "You are half way through the forest!"

I was really happy. That was when I was motivated to finish walking through the forest. Just as we were about to walk, a gnome appeared. It was no statue gnome but a gnome that could actually talk and move. The moment Jungkook saw the gnome, he pulled me behind him and shooed the gnome away.

"Why did the gnome move? I thought that gnomes were statues. How come the gnomes here can move and talk?"

"I know you are confused. I already told you that we are in another dimension. Things here work differently. Some things on earth don't move but the same objects on earth that don't move, moves here. Alright just forget what you saw and just carry on walking."

As we walked, more gnomes started to come out of no where. I was terrified each time they just pop out to scare me and just laugh that i held onto Jungkook's hand. I grabbed onto his hand really tightly and scream each time more weird things start to appear. Somehow, the trees could talk and move their branches to like wave to us as we were walking. But soon, i sought of got used to it and the trees were actually really friendly.  Everytime I screamed, they say,"I'm sorry if I scared you. We are just lonely and it was rare that there would be humans passing by the forest. We have been abandoned for years now and this is our second time seeing humans after we were planted on this plot of land. Anyways, congratulations. You are almost at the end of the forest. But may i just ask, why did you come here?"

"It's a really really long story. I'm pretty sure he won't let me say everything that happened word by word to you*pointing at Jungkook who was standing behind me looking at me with his innocent eyes*. It would take me one full day if I do. "

"Alright then, run along. Remember, don't give up in life. Because you and I and all the living things were all born for a reason."

"Yes I will remember what you said."

We waved goodbye at each other and carried on walking. As we were walking, I asked Jungkook again, " Could you please explain to me why there are weird creatures here?"

"I guess they were born to be weird creatures.But normally, normal humans won't be able to see them. How come you can see them?"

"I don't know either."

To get away from being asked more questions, I quickly said, " Oh look! The sun is rising. We have to get back to finding the glowing platform before things start happening in school."

Soon, we reached the end of the forest and I took a deep breath in. From far, I could see a small city in front. I was really happy. Then, I suddenly thought of something that I've been curious of.

"Jungkook, Why were you at the Staff room the other day before we came to this place?"

"I was looking through the student list."

"Why do you have to look through the student list?"

"It's something personal. I can't tell you anything more than this."

Why does he need to look through the student list? *Gasp* Is he looking for someone?

We carried on walking as the sun rose higher and higher above our heads.

"I guess we won't be able to make it for school."

"Yeah. Are you hungry? We didn't eat dinner yesterday."

"I'm a little hungry. LET'S GO LOOK FOR SOMETHING TO EAT!"

I ran off and Jungkook chased behind me.

"Stop running."

I stopped and turned behind. He was walking, looking really breathless. I walked around the city to look for something that we could munch on. I turned into one of the lanes and could smell something really delicious. I turned to Jungkook and said, "Jungkook ah I can smell something really good coming from that direction. Can you walk faster."

He didn't even try to move faster and I had to pull him while I followed the scent.

Stopping here to leave you thinking where the scent came from and why Jungkook had to look through the student list. I'm going on a holiday for three days and I'll be posting again after that.
