Chapter 6

Gijeong's pov:

We went to the theme park and Jungkook paid for the tickets.

"This is my treat to you because you didn't bring your wallet and also for making you get lost and confused here. So next time, when we meet, you have to treat me to something. I earn you that if you see something weird, act cool with it or else people will know that you are a human. Got it?"

I nodded and took the ticket from him happily. We entered the theme park and went to the closest ride. It was really thrilling. It felt like we were floating instead of really on the rails. After that ride, I felt a little hungry. We went to get something to eat from the near by cart. We got churros. It was really good. As we were walking, someone almost fell on me. Jungkook said some words and pointed at him with his magic wand. That person went back on his feet and walked away.

"Did you see that?" He said, softly and cautiously.

"I totally did. You never told me that you know magic."

"Because you never asked."

"Now I know why you wanted to send me back. Because you didn't want me to see you do that and what other people can do."

"Not exactly that."

"Then why were you chasing me to go back to the world where I came from?"

"Because if you don't go back within two months, you would be trapped here......FOREVER."

"What! How is that possible?!"

"If you don't go back, the platform will take it that you don't want to go back and won't allow you to go back. Just like how all those people here. They have never had a chance to go back to the world where you came from."

"Then I have to find the people in my flashback quickly. They are the only ones in the flashback when I came here and they only appear when I came here. "

We got out of the theme park and went to find a place where we could rest for the day and where I could plan on how to find the people in my flashback.

We went to a place where there was no one there and there were some cardboards and newspapers on the floor. We made ourselves a flooring where we could sleep for the day. I picked up the newspaper and it was a paper from twenty years ago.

"I guess nobody cleans this place up."

"You bet. The people here would dump things here and it would magically disappear a few years later".

I carefully read through the paper as it was old and some of the words had already faded out. I flipped through the paper and I saw an image. It was the man whom I saw in my flashback. I read the caption below and it stated that he was the ex king. I took a look at the heading and it stated, "King Sukwoo out!" "Why would the ex king be in my flashback? If he is the man in my flashback and if he is the ex king, that means that the lady in my flashback might be the queen which is also his wife. But I still don't understand why would the ex king and queen be in my flashback? Are they related to me but I just don't know?"

I put the paper down and sat down on the cardboard which I had spread out on the floor. I was in really really deep thoughts. Holding and staring at the image on the newspaper carefully and slowly trying to recall what I had flashbacked. From what I remembered and what I saw from the image, I did not make any mistake. It was them in my flashback. I decided to ask Jungkook.

"Jungkook ah, who is this guy?"

"He's the king, ex king. He had a wife and a daughter. Both of them were really previous to him. He was the strongest wizard among all the other wizards but his brother was jealous of his power and wanted to take over the kingdom to make him a nothing. They had war. The war was really violent. Many people died. Including his wife. They had a daughter but during the war, the king's wife told her royal servant to send their daughter away to make sure that she is safe. But now their daughter was no where to be seen. During the war, the king was being captured and thrown into the dungeon. Now nobody knows where he is."

"So you are saying that their daughter was lost during the war?"

"Yes. The royal servant was being attacked on his way to keep the queen's daughter safe."

"Oh I see. But how do you know so much?"

"I was being told all this by my uncle. My uncle was one of the guards who protected the king. We should go to sleep now. I'll tell you more tomorrow if you want to know more. "

I laid down and closed my eyes with thoughts going in and out of my head.
