Chapter 2

Gijeong's pov:

He looked really familiar. I walked into the office and went to take a closer look. He turned around and I hid under the teachers table. I peeped out and caught a glimpse of his face. He was Jungkook. The new kid. What is he doing? I thought that he was really suspicious. He is acting really weird and somehow really mysterious. He turned and packed everything to where they were and walked out. I followed him out and saw him entering the library.

Why is he entering the library so late at night? I followed him into the library to see what he was up to. He walked towards the book shelf and pulled down one of the books. And the shelf started to shift. The shelf of books slid to side. He walked in and the book shelf shifted back to its original position. I went forward and did the same thing that Jungkook did. I walked in and saw a deep deep tunnel. I followed as the tunnel turned here and there and soon landed on a platform. I stood there for a while and soon, there was a ray of light flashing from my feet. The next thing I noticed was that I was being transported to a place where I have never been before. I stepped off and the platform disappeared. I looked around my surroundings and saw that I was somewhere but not in Korea also on the outskirts of area as there wasn't much tall buildings. I turned on my flashlight from my phone and saw Jungkook standing in front of me. He flashed his torch light at me and got shocked.

"What are you doing here?! You are not supposed to be here!"

"Wow, you are finally talking to me. I thought you were mute. You wouldn't talk to me in school and you only talk to me here."

"Now is not the time to discuss this. Reply me, Why are you here?"

"I should be asking you that question. And where did that platform go, it just disappeared."

"I can't tell you anything. First thing is that you have to go back to the human world."

"What do you mean human world? Aren't I already in the human world?"

Jungkook hesitated for a while and said, "Actually we are in another dimension of world."

"I don't understand what you just said."

"You won't understand because you are a human."

"Aren't you a human too? I'm getting more confused as you proceed."

"I'm a human but I'm special. Nevermind this is not the importance of the whole thing. We have to get you back. And to say are your eyes always purple or was it that I was colorblind? "

"I too don't know how it turned purple. Maybe it was just something that has gone wrong in my body. I too feel that I'm not the same from other people."

"Okay? Enough of talking we really have to get you back before something bad happens."

He flashed his torch light around and started to walk. I followed behind him, instinctively. He walked and walked and I followed and followed. We were soon lost in some sort of place where there was no one. Not even a single soul around.

"Are we lost?"

"No we are not." He said giving me a shaky smile.

We walked deeper and deeper but still no way out. I was really tired of walking and found a side to sit down. I sat down and he stopped as soon as he didn't hear my footsteps stop.

"We have no time for stopping."

"But I'm really tired. I'm supposed to be asleep by now. It's three in morning and there's school tomorrow. I can't concentrate if I'm too tired."

"If we don't find the portal then we won't be able to go to school tomorrow."

"Wait what do you mean portal?"

"Portal? I didn't say portal."

"Maybe I was too tired and heard you wrongly."

I sat there and started to feel even more sleeper compared to when I was walking. Jungkook walked to me and sat beside me.

"You look really tired. But don't you want to go to school tomorrow?"

"But I'm really tired. "

I jumped up and exclaimed, "Oh shoot the school will call my parents and tell them that I'm not in school and my parents would be so worried. I won't know what they will do. They will think that I'm missing. They will also call your parents. Aren't you afraid that they will call your parents?"

His face sank and said, "I don't have any parents. They were killed a long time ago *tears started rolling down his cheeks* I really miss them. I was being raised by my uncle. I never got to see them at all. They died when I was two, it's been eighteen odd years. Even if I got to see them, I wouldn't remember their faces. *wipes off his tears* We have to carry on walking to find the platform to get you back for school."

He stood up and walked in front of me. I followed behind him feeling all bitter about bringing up the topic about family. I made him feel sad and even teared up. He suddenly stopped and stared at the astonishing sight. I stopped and didn't know how to react to what was in front of me. Now I really feel like my legs were going to break. I gave Jungkook a death stare as he gave an innocent smile.
