br9therly advice 9r br9therly annoyance?

karkats pov- after the events at the beach, i walked back to my hive. It's not that I didn't want to stay longer at the beach, it was just fef had to go home early due to family issues. I walked through the door of my hive (or house as the humans call it) and set my swimming gear next to the shoe rack. I make my way into the living room and flop down onto the couch next to kankri who was reading Shakespeare, his new favourite author.

"SHUT IT KAN, IVE HAD A PRETTY SHIT DAY AND I DONT NEED YOU MAKING IT WORSE"

He puts down his book and directs his attention to me, kankri can be pretty annoying when talking about his pet peeve (triggers) but can be a really good troll to come to about your problems. I sigh and lazily look at him

Kankri seems to smile just a little

" 9k, first karkat can y9u n9t speak like that, it feels as if y9u are c9nstantly sh9uting at me. If that isn't t9 triggering t9 y9u"

" sure, whatever. Anyway, she saved me today at the beach from drowning"

The split second I say that kankri is all over me, checking if I'm injured in any way

" 9h my g99dness! Are y9u hurt? D9 y9u need pain killers? Any internal bleeding? Why didn't y9u call me the instant it happened?!"

He says this way to fast and I end up being carried to the kitchen. Of course I struggle out of his grasp

"KANKRI! I'm fine, fef made sure of it"

"She did? "

I nod and he sighs in relief

" I need t9 remember t9 thank her later, she's a really nice tr9ll"

I smile slightly

" yeah.. she's brilliant"

I blush a little as kankri smirks at me

" I h9pe I d9nt trigger y9u 6y saying this, but I'm 99% certain y9u have a flushed crush 9n the r9yal"

Now there's no hiding the blush, it stretches from one ear to another. I told my arms

" I do not!"

I yell this in his face and run up to my room. I shouldn't have yelled at him, he was only trying to help. But he pushed my buttons way to far. Did I really just deny I had feelings for fef? Oh no! This is another major sign that I actually DO love her. I'm so screwed if anyone else finds out.
