I Can't Stop Now

I am so sorry about how long it has been since I am have written anything. Please don't hate me.

Well here is another chapter.

"What the hell are you doing out here?" Devil calls to the back seat. For some reason, she seems angry at seeing her sister out here.  We are back in the car with the two people, one of them being Alex. The other, another girl, has not said a word yet.

"I came to find you."

"Why?" I can barely see her continuously looking up at the ceiling of the car. "I told you to never come after to me. Why can't you listen?"

"How about because you're the only family I have left." Her sister spits back. That leaves Devil speechless for a while.

I continue to drive back towards the Dead Pegasus. I try to focus on my own problem of my brother running off after Monster. Why not just let her go? Why, Dylan, why?

"What about Mum? What happened to Dad? I thought he worked for BL/ind." Devil questions.

"Mum died three days after you left." Alex informs Devil. She tried to run after you, but was shot in the heart on the way out the tunnel. Dad however, has not come back from work for a total of two weeks, so either he is working super hard or he is rotting in BL/ind headquarters."

Alex surprises me. I would have thought she would be a lot more sensitive to this information, like I was. But no, it does not seem to even phase her.http://www.wattpad.com/mystories?compose=true&id=34841080

Devil is silent, as if she is trying to deal with the news.

"You could have stayed." She says quietly.

"Not without you knowing what is happening in Battery City."

"What do you mean?" I ask, breaking into the conversation.

"There have been somethings I think you guys would like to know. Things that might help you find the motive to take down BL/ind once and for all." Alex says the final sentence as if all she is made of is hate.

"And what could that be?" I ask, thinking that we already know most of that we need to take down the evil corporation.

 "BL/ind is using the families of runaways as a warning to the rebellious teenage population. There have been three executions of the parents of only child Killjoys to give a message to everyone outhere and in there."

"Why? Why would they kill the parents? The kids are gone. They won't know of this at all unless someone comes out to tell them." I begin, trying to get a grasp about this topic. Am I glad my mother was not apart of public executions. "To me, it is just another reason to rebel against them. How is this helping them?"

"They are installing fear which transfers to caution as the emotionless pill takes effect."

"Anyone we know become part of this?"

"No. But if we don't stop them soon, every Killjoy may as well be classifyed an orphan."

I drive way above my usual speed while Devil looks around for lights and Dracloids. When we arrive at the Dead Pegasus, I quickly shut off the car, almost before it had even stopped, before running out. Devil does the same, while the two girls we picked up come in slowly.

"Flame! Over here!" Stat calls out from the kitchen. As Devil and I jog into the kitchen, we see Stat and the Three all pouring over a map of the Zones. Stat is designating teams of two to search in different directions. "You two, will go north of here, looking in circles for any sign of the two Killjoys." Stat points at Devil and me. "Star and I will go south. Kobra Kid, pick someone to go with you west. Ghoul, you and Ghost will go east. I need someone here we can trust to keep up communications."

"I'll do it!" A voice says from behind me. The other girl we picked up, the first one I almost run over, walks up.

"What is your name?" Stat asks, not knowing who this girl is.

"Blind Reaper. I worked as the inside girl for the Killjoys inside Battery City for Zone 1. I'm pretty sure I can do this."

"Okay. I guess this is all we can do. We start out at dawn and will look for three days. If we can't find them then, or if Face doesn't come back, we will assume they are out fo the zones or taken by Dracloids." I say. "Let's get some sleep."

So, I lied about when this would be finished. I kind of got sidetrakced with homework and Supernatural. Sorry about that.

Well, I say I'm not doing better at updating than my dear Fiz, but who cares.
