Spencer already knew it was going to be quite a long day. She was taking the boys to the mall for a quick shopping trip to buy presents for one another and their families, then she was bringing them back to the house so they could wrap presents and write letters for Santa. Her friend Isabel was coming along, and she really hoped the boys wouldn't hassle her too much.

At the moment, she was helping Harry get dressed and she was pulling his newly bought skinny jeans over his pull up. She didn't really trust Harry in a crowded public place without a pull up for long, as he was easily distracted and had a pretty weak bladder. He didn't really put up too much of a fight, but she knew that would come with Louis. Every time they'd been to the mall, he always found himself in a predicament, and Spencer was not looking to be in another one that morning. So, she was going to get him in a pull up. Only problem was... Louis claimed he was a "big boy."

"But Spencer, I don't need a stupid pull up!" Louis was arguing. "Lou, every time we go, you end up needing to potty and not telling me. C'mon now, just wear a pull up and we can go. We're almost ready; we just need to get you dressed," Spencer replied, practically pleading with the boy. Isabel had just sent her a text asking what the hold up was, and honestly, she was close to smacking Louis.

"Louis, just wear a pull up so we can go. I know you're gonna have to potty while we're there, so just put it on and let's go." Spencer was starting to become angry with the boy, and she knew she needed to calm down. "No! I'm not a baby and I'm not wearing a stupid pull up!" Louis was now almost yelling. He hadn't even realized that Harry was still in the room, having not wanted to leave Spencer. He also hadn't realized that Harry had basically shrunken and had his lips pulled between his teeth. The small boy was noticeably upset, and Spencer could tell.

"Fine, Louis. Don't wear the pull up, but it's on you if you have an accident," Spencer finally gave in, deciding consoling Harry was more important than trying to convince Louis. Louis gave a smug look and a "hmph" as he thought he'd won, when in reality he'd just practically doomed himself and upset his best friend.

Walking downstairs, Spencer had Harry on her hip and she had her head turned to see him since he'd buried his face in her neck. "Haz, you know Louis didn't mean what he said. You're not a baby and your pull ups certainly aren't stupid," she consoled. Harry gave a weak sniffle and shrugged, finally speaking and saying, "But he's right. M'a baby an' I shouldn't have t'wear pull ups." Spencer's heart was slowly breaking and she wanted to smack Louis ten times harder than she originally had.

"Hey, don't listen to him. He was just upset. Now, we're gonna go to the mall with the boys and Izzy and we're gonna have a really fun time," Spencer tried to cheer the boy up. Harry gave a small smile, to which Spencer smiled and continued down the steps. Louis was now following them down, so they were nearly ready to go.

"Finally!" Isabel exclaimed as they reached the bottom of the stairs. "We thought you three had gotten lost!" Spencer chuckled. "Well we just had a few disagreements but I think we're ready to go now, yeah?" All the boys nodded their heads, so Spencer grabbed her bag and they all headed out to the car!

Upon arriving at the mall, Spencer and Isabel climbed out, then the two helped the boys out of the car.

"Alright, so Isabel and I are going together, and you four boys will go together," Spencer told the group. She trusted Liam with the boys and they all had their cell phones, so they could text or call if something happened. Spencer heard a quiet whine in response and turned to see that it was Harry. "B-but I wanna go with you an' Izzy," Harry whimpered sadly. Spencer sighed. "You can't right now, baby. I'm getting some Christmas gifts for you, and you wanna be surprised, don't you?" she replied, pulling Harry into a hug, hoping she'd convinced him. Harry gave a small sigh. "I guess so." Spencer smiled. "How about me and Izzy come get you after I've got all you boys' presents? Hm?" she suggested. Harry gave an eager nod, so Spencer smiled and told him, "Alright then, I'll come get you after I've got your presents." Again, Harry gave a nod of approval, so the two groups split and they were on their way!
