Okay so I've had this since like December and I forgot to publish it 😂. I was going to publish it with Poorly Louis and put them together as Louis moments but I forgot I'd even written this 😂. Anyways, enjoy this while I finish up a request for whenhazzametboo and @larrybeiberdreams !

Spencer had been warned about Louis' nightmares when she applied for the job. However, she hadn't actually experienced one in the few weeks she'd been with the boys. Louis had slept peacefully through the nights she'd been with them, minus the first night when he'd had an accident. Occasionally, he'd crawl in bed with her or her and Harry, but he hadn't actually had a bad disturbance. All in all, he'd been nightmare free, and well, Spencer had taken a liking to that much more than she should have.

Spencer awoke to screaming. They were loud and piercing screams, and they sounded more than terrified. She hurriedly jumped out of her bed, still hardly being awake and ran into the hallway to find the source of the noise. Upon realizing it was Louis' room, Paul's words struck her. Louis frequently had nightmares. So, she ran down to the door that was Louis' and burst into the room to see Louis moving around and wailing. He was sweating and had tears going down his red cheeks, and Spencer could hardly bear the sight. She ran to Louis' bed and sat down in front of him, holding down his arms with one of her arms while she stroked back his wet fringe with the other hand.

"Shh, shh," she coo'd. "It's alright. It's fine. Calm down, bub. Wake up for me honey; you're alright." Spencer continued to coo for a few more minutes as Louis slightly calmed down, and once he did, he immediately shot up to meet Spencer's eyes. In an instant, she saw Louis' blue eyes fill with tears, and then he was sobbing right in front of her. The poor boy could hardly catch his breath and he was reaching out to Spencer, so she pulled the boy into her arms and rocked him.

Spencer continued to rock Louis for a few minutes, rubbing his back and shushing him. He hiccuped and sniffled every so often, both sounding and looking pitiful.

It was a few minutes later when Liam peeked in the door.

"Spencer, is everything okay?" he asked. Spencer sighed. "It's alright, Li. Louis just had a little nightmare. It's alright, though," she replied. Liam nodded. "Well, uh, he likes warm milk to calm him down sometimes. Just thought you should know." "Thank you, Liam. You've really been a big help. You can go back to sleep now," Spencer responded. She felt bad that Liam was awake, but she really did appreciate the warm milk tip since she couldn't remember exactly what it was that Paul said Louis liked.

Liam smiled, then retracted his face from the door and headed back to his bedroom. Spencer continued to rub Louis' back as he sniffled and calmed down.

After a few more minutes, Spencer noticed that Louis had gone quiet, but she could tell he was still awake. "Lou, do you wanna get changed and  go get some milk?" Spencer asked. Louis had sweated right through his pajamas and his sheets were also full of sweat. Louis only nodded, so Spencer turned on his bedside lamp and stood him up. She began to strip Louis' sheets while he stood beside her, too afraid to let her out of his sight.

"Lou, are you gonna get changed, bub?" Spencer asked. Louis pulled his top lip between his teeth and let tears spring to his eyes; he wasn't trying to be a crybaby, but he was upset and he didn't want to leave Spencer. "Hey, if you're waiting on me to finish up, that's fine too. I'm almost done; just let me throw these in the bin," she comforted. When Paul said nightmares, she didn't think they would be this bad.

Once she'd thrown the sheets in the wash bin, Spencer lead Louis over to his dresser to pull out some new pajamas. He ended up picking ones out that had stripes on them, so Spencer helped him put them on, then she gathered him into her arms and took him downstairs.

Arriving in the kitchen, Spencer pulled out a sports bottle and the milk jug. She poured the milk in the bottle, then heated it up in the microwave. Once it was done, she handed the bottle of milk to Louis and allowed him to suck on it as he laid his head on her shoulder. She walked around the kitchen for a few minutes, letting Louis get sleepy, then began to walk back upstairs. Spencer took Louis into her bedroom, already knowing that was where he'd want to sleep, and laid him down on the unslept in side of her bed.

"I-I can go back to my r-oom," Louis stammered. "Well if you wanna sleep here, you're very welcome to. I know you probably don't wanna sleep alone after a nightmare," Spencer replied, feeling bad that the poor boy felt he was inconveniencing her. Louis looked like he was thinking, then snuggled closer to her.

"I love you, Spencer," Louis said quietly, his face almost hidden in her side. "I love you too, bub," Spencer replied, pulling him closer.

And then they fell asleep, Spencer literally cuddling the nightmares out of Louis.

This one is soooo short and I let it be because I was gonna tack it on with Poorly Louis but this is fine. My next update will be within a day or two and I'm excited for you guys to read it x
