Hey guys ! Another update... and I hope you guys enjoy it ! I've had this idea forever and I finally found the motivation to fully write it out.

I hope you guys enjoy !

"Is Louis home early today?"

That was the first thing Danielle heard Harry say as he approached her after school. Danielle regularly picked Harry up, Harry's grandmother doing so if she couldn't, but Louis had said he'd be home early today.

"He sure is, but he was very sleepy so I let him wake up and take a shower. He'll be up when we get home though," Danielle replied, Harry seeming content with the answer.

The two were soon back to Danielle's car, so she helped the 9 year old in and they were back to the flat.

Harry ran through the door with Danielle following behind, eager to see his big brother after a long day of school.

"There's my favorite man!" Louis yelled as Harry barreled through the kitchen, picking the boy up and spinning him around and making him giggle.

"And there's my favorite lady."

Danielle smiled as she walked into Louis' embrace herself, gripping him around the waist and giving the best hug she could with Harry on her boyfriends other hip.

"How was school today bud?" Louis asked, setting Harry back on the floor and going over to the counter to sit down, Harry and Danielle joining him.

"Fine," Harry responded, not looking up from where he was tracing lines onto the granite.

"Just fine?" Louis inquired, pulling Harry's head up so he'd look him in the eyes. "Did something happen?"

Harry just frowned.

"Tell me, buddy. I can't help if you aren't telling me what's wrong," the older pressed. Normally, he wouldn't press people so hard, but Harry was one to bottle his emotions sometimes, and their doctor had told them that wasn't good.

"My tummy was just hurting, s'all," Harry finally admitted.

"Are you telling the truth?" One more question.

Harry nodded, and Louis believed him. They'd had problems with Harry's stomach before, mostly from his anxiety, but his medicine sometimes made him nauseous as well.

See, Harry lived with Louis for a reason. Right after Harry's seventh birthday, their parents had been killed in a car crash, and Louis was old enough to take the boy. Many people frowned on it and said their grandparents would be much better fit, but both Louis and their grandparents agreed that Louis would be best for Harry. He'd have a mother figure as well since Danielle had moved in with Louis the summer prior to the accident, and Harry had known her 2 years prior to that.

Everything seemed to work out... everything except for the problems that arose after the crash.

Harry had begun to wet his bed and have horrible nightmares, waking up screaming almost every night. That led to sleepless nights for everyone, so not only was Harry too tired for school, but he just plain didn't want to go. Before, he'd loved school, but it seemed as though he had turned into a completely different child, one who was too afraid to let Louis out of his sight, even for a short school day.

So, Louis did what he knew his mum would do : make a doctors appointment. Harry had been diagnosed with not only general anxiety, but separation anxiety as well. Louis, Danielle, and their grandparents had done everything in their power to help Harry get better, and two and half years later, he really was doing a lot better.
