"Crap! " Liann shouted as she landed ass flat on the ground with a knock to her forehead. She was headed to school through the park until she started texting her sister and fell to the ground after she collided with another body.
"Shit!" Jamie yelled to no one in particular, maybe the pain perhaps. She hit her head quite hard against the other girl's head. Jamie crouched and cupped her face in her hands while cussing.
Liann got up to see if the other girl had been seriously injured. She towered over the girl now and held her hand out to her signaling her to get up.
"Hey, are you okay, do you need to go to the hospital? " Liann asked her voice laced with concern. Was her head really that hard? Maybe it was the other girl's fault. Liann decided to just blame it on the speed at which they were walking. She wasn't very good at physics but she assumed that speed somehow contributed to this awful disaster.
"Yeah I don't need a doctor, but no offense to your head but it's as hard as fu- " Jamie was now face to face with the girl she had met at the party over the weekend. She really thought that they would never meet again. It wasn't a pleasant surprise but it wasn't an unpleasant one either.
Liann's eyes practically popped out of her head. It was Jamie White. The intriguing girl from the party she was forced to go to. The only part of the party that Liann didn't regret. Now the two girls stood staring at each other as different thoughts bubbled in their minds.
"Handsy is it you? " Jamie asked the taller girl.
"Yeah, I mean no I'm Liann but I am the girl from the party. Do you actually remember me?" she asked her face masked with suspicion.
"Yeah how could I forget my alcoholic shower and please don't apologise again. Its just that you've been doing that a lot and I don't really need it." she said as she grinned at Liann momentarily forgetting about their collision.
Liann melted under Jamie's gaze and stared at the brunette's pearly whites. Jamie had plump lips that tempted Liann to touch them which made her feel uncomfortable, in a good way as if leaving her comfort zone would free her.
"Yeah I do apologise quite a lot to people. I guess I've become accident prone. "she laughed. Her eyes once again wandered to the other girl's face, her flawless face. Jamie had gorgeous brown eyes that Liann could stare at all day. Liann really wouldn't mind that at all. She considered telling Jamie that she might have escaped from Mount Olympus but the girl might just mistake her for a lunatic.
"Why do you keep staring at me like that? "Jamie asked Liann who now looked like a tomato that had eaten a chili.
"I'm not, staring I'm just looking at , never mind. " she lied."Okay Handsy, if you say so. Are you headed to school? " She asked and wiggled her eyebrows to earn a laugh from the clumsy girl. Which Liann did, she laughed with ease as if all the tension in her life had evaporated. All Liann wanted to do was hug Jamie. She was curious as to how she would smell. How she would feel in her arms, Jamie would fit perfectly in her arms because of her small frame. Jamie was petite but she was curvy too with ample breasts that made Liann's throat dry at the thought of them. Liann started to suspect that she liked Jamie as more than just a friend would. This thought scared her shitless.
"Yes I am. I'm guessing you're heading to school as well? " she raised her eyebrows.
"Yep, I attend St.Luis High, I've never seen you at my school so I'm guessing that you my dear attend Charles High. Am I right? " she asked the taller girl. Liann responded with a quick nod as to take more time to just observe her.
"You kinda owe me you know. " Jamie said smirking at Liann. Liann absolutely adored Jamie at that moment because she looked sexy. What was Jamie talking about being owed something to?
"What? "
"You sprayed me with alcohol and knocked me to the ground dear. I think it's quite fair that you walk me to school. I'd really enjoy your company. "
Liann was both surprised and elated. She couldn't believe that Jamie enjoyed her company and wanted her to walk her to school. On the other hand Liann really wanted to spend time with this girl and would be on cloud nine if they got to hang out.
"Uhm, I really need to get to school. "the coward in Liann replied. She didn't know what she was afraid of or was she just lying to herself? Liann always ended up alone because she suppressed her true feelings towards people. She thought it might be the main reason for her anti-social behaviour, she was not being herself.
Jamie's face fell, but changed back to her carefree expression in less than a second. So fast that Liann hadn't noticed anything strange.
"Oh okay that's cool. I guess we'll find some other way in which you can repay me." she winked at the other girl. Jamie stepped closer to Liann so that they were inches apart and she was now breathing on her neck. This action formed knots in Liann's stomach and caused her to feel extremely hot yet ice cold at the same time. The girl had to tighten her hands into fists to keep from touching the brunette.
"I'll see you around pretty soon Handsy. I know where you hangout during the day." Jamie laughed a melodic sound. She backed away from the taller girl whom she had made unbearably nervous. She made her way past Liann and started in a slow jog to school.
Liann turned around to watch the brunette beauty jog away.
" See you around then!" she yelled afraid of not seeing the girl again. The thought brought a frown to Liann's smooth face that seemed out of place, like a crack in a mirror would. She immediately pushed the thought out of her mind.
"Sure Han-"she paused for a second and said over her shoulder, "Liann!".
The sound of her name, from such a miraculously gorgeous person, set fireworks off in her chest that didn't seem to fade away as the girl had disappeared from Liann's view, but instead transitioned into a rapid thunder produced by her heart.
She was screwed.
She had a crush on a goddess-like girl.
