Nanami gave out a sigh as looked out on the sea. Everyone raided her with questions making her repeat the story at least three times. She was happy to see everyone get along and smile again after what happened. She smiled brightly as she looked out again.

"Hey,Nanami."

She looked to her left to see Hinata standing next to her. Every time she looked at his one red eye she remembers Kamakura and his bored personality. Hinata leaned both his arms against the railing while Nanami just held on with her hands.

"We all missed you. When we woke up from the program the memories of you came back and haunted all of us. It took us a while to get used to the fact that you're gone. But now that you're standing here before us alive, breathing, something we can touch."

"It makes you happy right?" Nanami finished. Hinata smiled at her.

"Yep. Knowing that you were safe and protected made us all relieved. I never thought I would say this but, Komaeda was right, this is a hope filled event."

Nanami laughed and looked back out on the water. She gently placed her hand on his. Her grabbed her hand and gave it a comforting squeeze. Everyone was happy beyond belief. Nanami had come back to them. It was a miracle. Hinata thanked Kamakura in his head for saving the gamer.

"I guess this is the start of a hopeful future. Right Nanami?" Nanami turned to him with a gentle smile.

"I don't know what's out there ahead of us, but, I have a feeling that it's full of hope...I think."

Hinata laughed at the not so confident catchphrase he had missed. He gave her hand another squeeze and she squeezed back.

"You know what Nanami? I think you're spot on."

They looked out at the water. The future was unpredictable for both of them. But as long as they were there for each other, nothing could stop them.

This was the true path to hope.
