Chiaki Nanami's IF

"Nanami?"

Said girl opens her eyes after she hears her name. She realizes she slept on the couch without noticing.

"Is someone here?"

She heard the voice again only clearer. Realizing that it could be Kamakura she drowsily sat up rubbing her eyes.  She lets out a big yawn before looking over at the door.

"Kamakura-kun? Are you back? Where have you been?"

Both of them widen their eyes when they see each other.

"N-Nanami?" Hinata asked pinching himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

"Hinata-kun? Is that really you?" Hinata nods his head.

"Hinata-kun!" Nanami jumps off the couch and tackles him into a hug. Hinata catches her while falling to the ground.

"Nanami!" Hinata hugs back while tears start coming out.

They both sit there on the ground. Hinata starts sobbing into Nanami's shoulder while muttering words like 'I missed you' and 'I can't believe this is real'. Nanami was smiling while rubbing Hinata's back. When they separated Nanami started firing questions left and right and Hinata did the same.

Nanami told him all about the time she spent locked up in an apartment with Kamakura Izuru. Hinata did have a little embarrassing flashback of her doing his old long hair. Hinata told her the despair filled truth about her friends and what happened in the Neo World Program.

"You saw me in the Neo World Program? Why was I there?" She asked cocking her head to the side.

"We all wanted to see you one more time. Because of that an AI was created with your form." Hinata explained "She was just like you. She was really into video games like you and fell asleep randomly. She was kind and cared about us too."

Nanami smiled knowing that her friends missed her. She occasionally asked questions about the others making Hinata smile about her caring personality. Nanami looked over at her video game console.

"Hey Hinata-kun."

"Hmmm?" Hinata hums.

"Wanna play a video game?"
