Chandler's POV
I wake up with a smile on my face remembering yesterday's events. I realize that I haven't gotten Christmas gifts yet. It's Christmas Eve too. We exchange gifts tonight. I know what I'm getting everyone except Monica. I think and think until I have the absolute perfect idea. I can't wait to give my gift to her.
Monica's POV
I hum while making eggs for breakfast.
"Someone's in a good mood today." Rachel says walking out of her room. "What happened?"
"Nothing," I lie. " just happy. That's all."
"Okay." Rachel shrugs.
"Here." I hand Rachel breakfast.
"Thanks." She responds.
"Of course. Are you excited for tonight?"
"Yes! I can't wait!" She squeals.
"Me neither!" I exclaim. "I'm going to go get some coffee. I'll see you later." I tell her.
I wrap my coat around me and lace up my shoes. I exit my apartment and see Chandler pull apartment 19's door behind him.
"Hey!" I greet.
"Hey!" He responds.
"You getting coffee too?" I ask.
"No I need to get my Christmas gifts."
"Chandler! It's Christmas Eve!" I yell.
"Yeah I know."
I laugh. We walk downstairs together and part our ways when we get to the sidewalk.
"See you tonight." I wave goodbye.
"See ya later." He smiles.
I walk into the coffee shop and order a steaming cup of Central Perk coffee. I sit down next to Phoebe and Joey on the couch.
"Hey!" They greet.
"Hey!" I reply.
"Why so smiley? Did something happen last night!!!" Joey squeaks.
"Yes but I'm not telling you. I just had a good time last night." I tell him.
"Okay then." Joey sighs.
