Monica's POV

"I love you," He announced. "and that's why-"

"Oh my God!" she proclaimed.

He kneels down.

"I want you to be my wife. You are the love of my life. I want to have kids with you and grow old with you. I know I am taking a big risk right now but if I didn't do this I would regret not doing for the rest of my life. So, Monica Geller will you marry me?"

I breath in a deep breath. I did not think that this would be my Christmas gift. I realize my mouth is wide open. I close it. I am at a loss for words just trying to comprehend what just happened. I love Chandler too but getting married is a big deal. I don't know what to do.

I look at the ring. It is a beautiful diamond surrounded by a cobalt blue sapphire on either side. It has a silver hoop and is just plain outstanding.

I look at Chandler and I know what I'm going to say. I realize I'm crying.

"Yes."

He slides the ring on my finger. Then he looks me straight in the eyes and kisses me. We walk home hand and happily.

"I love you Chandler." I exclaim.

"I love you too. I never stopped." He smiles.

We walk up the stairs to my apartment. No one is home. I see him look down at me and I nod.

"I love you so much." He whispers in my ear.

" I love you too and I wish we wouldn't have wasted that year."

"Me too."

He leans down and kisses me. We sit down on the couch and I kiss him again. I start unbuttoning his shirt revealing a white t-shirt. He does the same for me. Everything seems to have finally fallen into place.

I can't believe I'm going to marry the love of my life; my best friend.
