"Miracles are a wonderful thing," David spoke.

"They are what brought me back together with my true love, and my dear sister."

He smiled over at the girl.

Her ever lasting face had a fake smile covering it.

Alex hung her head as she listened to them sing Christmas songs.

Her heart was aching, all she could think of was him, and how he was gone thanks to them.

"Alex it's your turn," Snow said her cheer suddenly disappearing.

Rolling her eyes Alex coughed. "Why do I have to go? I don't sing."

Snow sighed, "You used to sing all the time."

She scoffed at her sister-in-law, "Why back when I was a princess. When my heart was ripped from my chest, I almost died, watched the love of my life die. Yeah-- I used to sing, but I wonder why I stopped."

She rose from her seat and stormed out of Granny's unable to stay with them any longer.

Alex found herself wrapping her arms around her body for warmth.

The lights were shining bright as she kept dragging her feet towards the beach.

The air suddenly became much more salty, a cool breeze making her think back to Neverland.

Home, is the thought that crossed her mind when she thought of that. Peter.

Tears rolled slowly down her cheeks as she let out her pain she'd been holding for ages.

"Why did they have to take you?! Damnit Peter why could you save your life like you did mine?"

She let out a weep as a pair of arms engulfed her in a hug.

Alex took in the sent of the boy hugging her. "Shh, love no need to worry I'm here now."

He pulled her chin up with his thumb and wiped away her tears.

"It's about damn time-- it's Christmas."

"I know it is."

She smiled and laced her fingers with his as they turned away from the beach.

"How are you here? I watched your own father kill you."

Peter sighed, "It's a really long story that doesn't matter."

The brown haired girl nodded her head and lead me towards the apartment.

She opened the door and turned the tree lights on, "I hope you don't mind the mess."

Peter chuckled and looked around the many photos of the couple, "I wouldn't expect it any differently."

Alex slapped his chest, "You're the one who doesn't know how to clean after themselves."

He rolled his eyes and acted like he was hurt, "That's not fair."

She smirked back at the boy, "I got you this."

Peter furrowed his eyebrows while she picked up a green wrapped box.

It was small in size, like a ring box.

When he opened it there was the ring he had planned to give her before he died.

"So Peter Pan what do you say will you marry me?" Alex asked down on one knee smiling up at him.

"I was supposed to be asking that."

"Yes or no idiot."

He sighed, "I'll have to get back to you."

Alex rolled her eyes while he winked at her.

"I would love to marry you," Peter replied slipping the ring around her finger.

He slammed his lips on to hers, "Wanna watch a Christmas movie?"

"Only if it's elf," she sang.

"Elf it is."

He sat on the couch while starting the movie.

Alex had found her spot, cuddled up in his side.

She soon drifted to sleep.

The sun shone down on her face causing discomfort.

She opened her eyes and lift her head from the couch, "Peter?"

There was no reply so she stood up and walked into the kitchen to make coffee.

On the coffee pot there was a note taped to it.

Dear Love,

i'm afraid our time was cut short once again due to problems in the wicked past. I wanted you to know that i am real. i am alive, you just need to come and find me. i have no clue how i am or why. but i do know that i love you alex and want to get married to you more then anything. i'm sick of losing you. please find me it's a little green here.

-peter <3

Alex smiled happy that she knew he was alive and that she wasn't going insane.

All she had to do know was find him so she could hold him once again.

That was her Christmas miracle knowing he was still alive.
