Little longer than usual!

Y/n's POV
I finish putting on my boots as I walk outside of my apartment, saying hey to people who were just coming in from work here and there.
I reach my car hop in and crank the heat up on full blast. Typical Canadian weather got me cold today.
I pull out of my parking spot and head off to my favorite restaurant which is sadly open on Christmas Day. Now you're probably wondering my I'm not with my family. Well I don't have any, I was an orphan. As I grew old enough I left the orphanage and went on with my life.
I have a great paying job, food, clothes over my back and a roof over my head. So who needs family? I reach the diner and step out of my car, locking it before entering the heated building.
As I wait to be seated I notice these group of guys, one in particular stood out. He had chocolate brown hair, brownish hazel eyes, a lazy eye and a cute cheek scar. Once the middle aged woman comes and leads me to my seat I sit and fine something to eat.
But I feel a presence besides me,
"Uh yes?" I say with a slight chuckle.
"Oh uh hi, hey. Uh my names Shawn. I was dared by my friend to come and talk to you. I mean if you don't mind." He asked slight embarrassed by the red riding to his cheeks.
"Sure, sit." He pulls the chair out and takes a seat next to me.
"So what is a pretty girl like you out here alone on Christmas Day with no family?" He asked.
"Oh well I don't have family, I am well was an orphan."
"Oh oh uh sorry I uh did-" I cut him off,
"It's fine." I laugh.
"Well, since you're all alone why don't you come sit with me and my friends, Ian, Brian and Matthew?"
"We'll keep ya company and food is on us. I mean since we haven't ordered. We'll be your family today." He added.
"I would love that Shawn." I smile.
"So what's your name?" He asked, as me make our way over to the booth.
"Y/n." He smiles.
"Pretty, just like you." As soon as I sit they all ask me questions like my name, age, where I'm from and ect...
For once I have some family.
