Little longer than usual!

Ashlee's POV
Today my boyfriend Shawn is taking me out on our last date before he goes on tour. I was excited and actually liked the way I looked for once. My hair down with some light curls at the end, makeup but not a whole lot, an olive green body con dress, some skin color heels and a gold necklace to match.
I take one last look at myself before grabbing my phone and walking down the steps. I find Shawn standing at the bottom with a tux on. He usually doesn't wear those on dates but hey I'm not judging because he looked hot.
"Wow Ashlee you oh my god you l-look amazing." He stutters. I laugh and kiss his cheek.
"Not to bad yourself Mendes." I wink. He laughs as he takes my hand and leads me to his jeep. Helping me in like the gentleman he is.

After a good thirty minutes we arrive. And I see we made it to the arena Magcon had performed in when they came to Canada for the first time like 4 years ago. I didn't say a word for all I know there could be a fancy hidden restaurant in there.
"Now before you say anything just please follow me okay." I nod and take his hand as we walk into the venue.
I see that there is a red cloth spread out from the entrance of the building all the way through the walk way. I also see there are red and black balloons hanging. Rose petals scattered around the floor.
As we walk further there are more rose petals and balloons. Once we reach the open space there is a table, with a white table cloth, a red rose in the middle and two chairs. There on the stage was a table and it had ton of pictures of us. Funny, sad, serious, cute. And more, there are also more red roses on the stage.
"Shawn this is beautiful." I smile.
"Thanks. Hey I've been thinking recently and I've come to the point where I know that I'm in love with you. And that I love you. That I can't keep you out of my mind. Ashlee you been there with me since we were 14 since we were in high school since we both had puberty since we both shared a liking in each other. You've been with me through it all. And I know that your the one I want to marry, have kids with, grow old with. I know that it you. And so I just wanted to know," he pauses as he gets down on one knee,
"If you would want to be Mrs. Mendes?" I already felt the tears. I couldn't control them as they just fell freely.
"Of course I would!" He stands up and kisses me as we hug for about 5 minutes.
"How did you do this all on your own?" I ask.
"Oh I didn't Aaron did. He came down and helped me. Oh he's also right there behind you. He was filming for your YouTube channel." I turn around and see Aaron.
"Oh my gosh!!" I run up to him and give him a hug. I whisper a thank you before he tells me I should go back to Shawn. He gives me another hug as he leaves but sits the camera down so I can take the footage.
"I love you so much Mendes." I smile once more before kissing him.
