Cinder looked around the throne room in despair. They'd been caught, they'd all been caught. There was Scarlet wolf and Thorne all gagged and bound because of her. Did she mention that she was gagged and bound too?

It was hopeless the minute Levana came back she'd kill them all. Well maybe not all of them. Winter and Jacin should be able to go and live in hiding, Iko was already gone only a mechanic could fix her and Cress was somewhere in the castle maybe she'd make it out alive.

Cinder reached out with her power but the only people she felt were Scarlet and Thorne not that much of wolf. She didn't control their bioelectricity it would do no one any good they couldn't help.

That was when she felt another person they had weak bioelectricity possibly a guard maybe she could control him before Levana did.

The person opened the door to reveal that he was in fact a guard and he was holding a bloody Cress in his arms

The technician was the first to react he slammed a portscreen into the side of her head. Cress delved into the darkness she couldn't see anymore but she could still feel and the pain it hurt so bad.

She felt arms scoop her up a shot fired and the person carrying her was walking she bumped in his arms hurting her even more. She tried to go back to the darkness but it wouldn't work looked like she was here to stay, she stifled a groan.

She heard a door opening and a muffled cry of alarm then "Cress,Cress what did you do to her" in a familiar voice very familiar actually she felt as though she should no it. Not knowing it was going to be a thorn in her side until... wait Thorne that was who the voice belonged to.

She struggled to remember him. His face dimly appeared in her mind his blue eyes his blond hair and his mouth quirked into a half smirk that sent her pulse racing.

She heard another voice this one was closer to her "i didn't do anything to her in fact I rescued her" this voice was unfamiliar and came from above her.

Cress hated not being able to see everything seemed so unrealistic and fake. This is how Thorne must have felt when he was blind. She struggled to wake up what if he was hurt or dying she needed to wake up.

She slowly opened her eyes it was an extremely painful process. A blinding light entered her eyes but she continued staring until it went away revealing that with a look around she was in the throne room and her friends were all gagged and bound in a line.

"Please put me down" she asked the guard who was holding her he obliged and she tried to stand up with not much success. The guard held his arm out and she reached for it using it to help her to stand. Once she was standing she limped along over to her friends she wanted to take the gag off all of them and was about to untie Cinder when the guard called her over.

"Hey butterfly how can you be sure that they're your friends and not glamours?" He asked just loud enough so that everybody could hear

"I'm a shell I can't get glamoured" she said confidently because she was a famous actress playing a part in a movie.

The guard didn't seem to be that disgusted that she was a shell.

"One more thing, why did you think I'd help you?" The guard asked

"But you have helped me,you just brought me here" Cress replied in confusion

"Exactly you brought me here if I killed these four how well do you think Levana would reward me?" The guard asked with sly grin.

Cress continued to look at the guard shocked that she hadn't thought to check that he was on their side.

"But I only have to kill four of them I don't have to kill you now do I?" He asked still wearing the same grin
