Chapter 28: Wedding Dress Shopping

TORI'S POV

*Three Months Later*

"Are you sure you're going to be okay?" I asked Austin as I grabbed my keys.

"I'm pretty sure I can take care of a child." He laughed

"Alright, just call me if you need me."

"I know Tori. Go have a good time and pick out a beautiful dress." He said with a smile, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my lips. "I love you."

"I love you too." I smiled, opening up the door. "COME ON ARIEL! LET'S GO!" I called.

"Coming!" She yelled, running down the stairs. I let her run out to the car and said goodbye to Austin one last time before joining Ariel in the car.

"Are you buckled?" I asked her, looking in the rearview mirror. She nodded and I pulled on my seatbelt, starting up the car and backing out of the driveway. I drove to the bridal shop and parked, walking in to see the FIR girlfriends and my mom.

"Hey guys." I smiled, walking over to them, Ariel holding onto my hand.

"Hey Tori." They smiled, all coming to hug me. We walked back over to where they were standing and a lady walked up to us.

"Hello ladies, which one of you are the bride?"

"I am." I smiled, raising my hand.

"Okay, let's have you girls come back so we can find some dresses." She said with a smile before leading us into a room with a few dressing rooms and a huge mirror. We all sat down and I ran my fingers through my hair.

"What is your name?" She asked me.

"Tori." I said with a smile and she nodded, writing it down on her clipboard.

"Alright Tori, what venue is your wedding going to be and what are the colors?"

"We're having a beach wedding and the colors are yellow, light blue, brown and white."

"Alright, what kind of dress were you looking for?"

"White, mermaid style and simple."

"I'll see what I can find." She said, going out and coming back a few minutes later with a dress in hand. "See how you like this." She said, handing it to me. I nodded and grabbed it from her, getting up and walking into the dressing room. I pulled the dress on and walked out, smiling.

The dress was long, white and strapless. It was mermaid style and had a corset in the back. There were layers of fabric going down the skirt and it had little designs on the torso.

"I love it!" I exclaimed, twirling in it a bit.

"Get it!" I heard Carolyn yell. I smiled and nodded, going back into the dressing room and taking it off. I got back into my clothes and sat back down, the person helping us turning back to me.

"What about the dress for your maid of honor?"

"She's going to be my maid of honor." I said, pointing to Carolyn. "And I want the dress to be short and yellow."

"I'll go look." She smiled, leaving the room.

"Thank you so much Tori!" She exclaimed, hugging me tightly.

"No problem, anything for one of my best friends." I smiled, hugging her back as she went back to her seat.

"Okay, try this on." The woman said, coming back and handing the dress to Carolyn. She took it and went to go try it on, walking out and standing in front of the mirror.
