春野サクラ
He sure did have the right timing, Sakura thought as she was pushed forward from behind. She held back the urge to lash out on the Sound ninja and kept trudging behind the person in front of her. Her feet grew numb from walking barefoot on the ground. Her ankles and wrists were aching from the chakra chains latched onto her.
Everyone looked the same--chained, locked up, and tired. Through her half-lidded eyes, she wearily watched as the Sound Shinobi led the line of chained people to a hospital.
A hospital? She wondered. Why would he bring us to a hospital? She then scoffed at herself for being so stupid.
Of course, she thought. The hospital's the largest building, and can house at least a thousand of people. Not only that, but there is medical equipment as well as serums stored on the fourth level--something he would need.
And as the line of people entered the hospital, they gasped in shock. A large crater was placed on the ground, revealing a tunnel. This must be how they got in, she thought. She then cursed. They were right under our noses, how could we not figure it out?
A figure was climbing out of the tunnel at a fast rate. As the figure got closer, Sakura could make out the pale skin and the long, jet black hair. Her eyes grew wide.
And he only chuckled.
Orochimaru.
...---...
She woke up in fright, springing up from her bed like a zombie coming alive. She then got up and ran to the bathroom, hurling out the last few meals she ate. When she looked in the mirror, she thought for a second she was a zombie coming back from the dead.
She leaned her body to the bathroom sink and closed her eyes. Why did I have that dream? She thought. It felt so real...
More like a nightmare, her inner said. This must be a sign. Either that or you're going crazy.
She sighed and splashed cold water on her face. She then exited the bathroom, walked back to her bed and looked at the alarm clock on her dresser to find that it was 1 am in the morning.
She drew out an exhausted breath. I can't tell anyone about this, or else they'll think I'm crazy.
Her gaze averted to the window in her bedroom. Through the blinds, she could make out the pale sky and the howling wind blowing the trees. The rain was pouring, the sound of a leak hitting the floorboards of her room driving her insane.
Maybe you are crazy.
...---...
Sakura made herself fall asleep for a few more hours. When she woke up, it was 5 am. She quickly took a shower and changed into her uniform before heading to the hospital.
The sky was not its normal baby blue--instead it was a pale, sickly white blanket sheet covering the village. The winds were howling and were tugging desperately at the trees and the leaves.
When she got to the hospital, she hesitantly took a step inside. The outside of the hospital was covered in puddles from the overnight rain. The sun was covered by a thick sheet of clouds, obscuring any light from shining through. The sight made Sakura's insides crawl.
When she stepped inside, she was slightly relieved to see everyone alive. The lady at the front desk was still checking in newcomers and greeting people. There were still nurses running down the halls, accompanying any patients.
"Good morning, Sakura-san, how are you?"
She was very much relieved to hear that annoying greeting. But as she stepped further into the hospital, her steps were unusually loud. She let her steps get louder and louder, and as they echoed, they let out a hollow sound on the floor.
She paused and looked back to the ground, her eyes wide. Her breath hitched and she stood, frozen.
You're not crazy.

Sorry for not updating in a long time. I wish I could say that it's because I'm busy, but in reality, I've lost all inspiration to write this book. That is because I started writing this other book, and now I don't know where this is going. Obviously, I'm planning to get Sakura out and she's gonna become all great and stuff, but I can't continue writing this if I don't even know how to write it--it's hard to explain, but I'm just so caught up in this other book.
So I'm really sorry about this! If you really liked this book so far, I want you to comment how you wanted this book to end. If you do, maybe I'll write it out for you, because I feel really bad for discontinuing it like this! This book to me had a really good start with the plot and stuff, and I had high expectations for this. But I couldn't work it out. You see, I wrote this chapter about a month ago, and since then, I haven't been able to think of what to write next. So I'm sincerely sorry about it.
I hope you enjoyed this book so far! :]
