Chapter 11: Preparing for the Party

-(/Astrid's POV\)-

As we arrive on Berk, I immediately hopped off of Torch and pointed the way to arena as I looked at the Timberjack.

"Ruff, you go and lead the Timberjack to the arena, I'll follow. I just forgot something on Torch."

Actually, I did. My small side wallet fell off.

I ran to Torch and Hiccup and Toothless was there beside him.

I ignored Hiccup since I really am in a hurry to plan for his party.

I looked on Torch's back and saw nothing.

"Wait, where is it??" I say as I 'lose my mind'.

"Are you looking for this?"

I turned around, and saw Hiccup looking at me as he was holding my wallet.

"Oh, thanks! I thought I lost it."

I grabbed the wallet from his hand, and buckled it to the side of my skirt.

"So.... i'll see you tomorrow, then?" he says as he tries to start up a conversation.

"Um, tomorrow?? Your invited to the party!"

"What?! I don't even know who 'Uncle Betty' is!"

"Well, your invited. I'll fetch you later, and in a blindfold."

"What? Why?"

"Cause, we want to see if we did a good job or not!"

"Oh, I see.."

"I'll fetch you in..... 50 minutes or less. Okay? I'll knock at your door."

"K then. I'll be waiting."

"Yeah, well.... I gotta go! See ya! Oh wait, come on Torch! Follow me!" I say as I run away.

"Ok." I hear him whisper.

I looked at Astrid as she runs away ti the arena.

Toothless budged me, probably telling me that he was hungry.

"Okay, okay. Let's go get some fish inside..."

I say as we both walk into my house.

As I run to the arena, Snotlout, Fishlegs and Tuffnut were outside, dumbfounded by the Timberjack.

Ruffnut was laughing at them, since they look like total morons.

"What are you guys doing!? 48 more minutes before the party! It'll will be nice if it was earlier, right?!"

"Yeah, yeah."

"Let me see what it looks like."

I walked to the arena gates, and surprised to see a BEAUTIFUL decorated arena.

Green streamers were hanging from the roof, and walls.

There were 4 tables filled with delicious smelling food!!

And 4 gifts were- OMG.

I have no gift for him!!!

NO.

This is bad, this is really really really bad!

I don't have a gift!!

How can I forget his gift?!

Maybe sone fresh made Yaknog!?

No. Bad Idea.

Whooo!!!! What am I supposed to do now?!

Huh, maybe I can just.... BAH.

Doesn't matter.

An early party is a better party, eh?

"Wow.... this is epic.." I say as I took one more look around.

"May I tell you I did all the work? While SOMEONE here almost ruined everything?" Fishlegs says as he looks at Snotlout.

"Whatever. Stoick helped you!"

"Wait.... STOICK HELPED?"

"Yeah. He thinks its a good idea to throw Hiccup a party. So he helped."

"Yeah."

"Well, I gotta go and help with the Timberjack."

"Me too!!" Fishlegs says as he raised his hand.

"Okay. Everyone OUT! I don't want anyone ruining this party. Okay?"

"Okay."

We all stepped outside.

Torch's wings were already spread out, and we just needed the Timberjack's wings.

Oh, the Monstrous Nightmare is at the top, by the way.

"Okay, here you go, girl...." I say as I touch the Timberjack's wings.

"Okay....."

I stretched my arms to the side, (Titanic style xD) and the Timberjack followed.

And voila!!

The whole roof is now covered with dragon wings!

Now all I have to do is to fetch Hiccup.

Ooh, and I got the blindfold!

Okay...

"You guys stay inside. Hiccup will be wearing this blindfold. When I walk in, I'll remove his blindfold. Then you'll all yell 'SURPRISE!!!' as loud as you can.

"Okay."

"Got it."

"K that."

"Gotcha."

"Okay, to your postions! Oh, and wait. You guys are so thoughtful enough to bring him a gift."

"Actually, the shocking part is that SNOTLOUT is the one who thought of it."

I looked at him and raised my eyebrow with a smile.

Also, I had my hand on my waist.

"What?" he says as he's about to obviously blush. "I just- want to... I just.... ya know... he's gonna..... Shut up, Astrid."

I chuckled.

"Well, I gotta go!"

"Okay!"

And then, I ran to Hiccup's house.
