You glanced nervously at the array of watches laid before you on the glass display. The seller was already getting impatient, as you still had not made a decision in the past half hour! But to you, one wrong decision and your entire world falls apart. All your chances with him, poof!
Having a crush on Silver Rocket was literally a death sentence. Not only does he have an attitude, he was rich due to his father's organization, despite being abandoned by his father.
Getting together with him was like sitting in open sea with 17 bleeding wounds and not getting eaten by sharks. Which means, the chances are near impossible. But it was worth the risk to you.
You weren't exactly OBSSESSED that you stalked him, but you watched him shyly from afar constantly. From your observations he;
1. Hates humanity
2. Loathes anyone and everyone
3. Pretty darn harsh and savage
4. Likes to beat up people who get in his way
Wow, (name)! You chose the perfect person to fall for!
You really, really liked him though. So you went as far as using up your scarce and small amount of savings to get a watch for him. Silver MIGHT think you're really considerate (in fact you were) and accept your feelings.
But hey, if it doesn't work out, at least you got a dope watch.
Then your eyes wandered onto a watch, made of silver and 2 diamonds on both sides of the tiny clock. The background of the clock was crimson red, a very masculine look, and golden hands ticking away.
It was perfect!
You turned to the snoring seller, and poked him lightly on the wrist. He jumped, and snorted. "Finally found what you wanted, miss?" He groaned, relief drowning his voice.
"Yes, sir. How much is it?"
-------------
You sighed dreadfully, the watch box in your hands. You had used up most of your money, and if Silver doesn't take it, then you'll just hope the store buys watches back or does refunds when returning products.
The sun was setting down, and red, jagged streaks stretched across the sky.
Silver's hair.
You laughed to yourself, eyes latched to the ground. Then you abruptly got hit by something and you were knocked to the ground. Looking up fearfully, Silver was clutching his chin in frustration and anguish. Then his glare met your eyes.
You squeaked, scrambled up, and lurched around for the watch box.
Silver had bent down to pick it up, and turned it around in his hands. Then you squealed again, and snatched it away from his hands.
"Annoying! I was just about to give it back to you!" He roared, fists clenched.
"I-I'm very very sorry, Rocket sir!" You bowed down and grabbed your bag, scurrying the heck outta there. As soon as you turned the corner, you sighed.
Oh my.
--------
The sun was climbing down the hill, marking the close end of another day.
You sat nervously, very very nervously, on the bench you had written a note for Silver to come to. Then your eyes darted around, no noticing the redhead approaching you from the other sidewalk across the street.
"As if, (name). He wouldn't come. What were you hoping for?" As you stood up, you crashed into another figure. You were lurched back onto the bench and...
There you go.
Silver was hissing in pain, but his eyes did not hold anger. You sighed. It was probably worse than anger. "So sorry, Rocket, sir!"
"Ugh, annoying! Just call me Silver, you idiot! Rocket isn't my only name, you know!" He growled. "Now, what the hell do you want?"
You stood up to meet his level and reached down to your bag and pulled out the watch box. His eyes widened, unbeknownst to you, and you looked down. You thrusted your arms out, the box stretched out to him.
"I-I.... Um... I l-i... K-k.. Umm...." You stammered.
"JUST SPIT IT OUT!" He yelled.
You squeaked the loudest squeak ever and met his gaze with your confident, steady eyes. "I like you a whole lot! Please accept this! I have a really big crush on you, and I understand your feeling of being misunderstood and lonely. I know why you're so cold to everyone. But please, can I be the first one that you'll let in?"
He stared at you in shock. Well damn, you stared right back!
Then he held his hand up, and threw the watch box across the street, lurching through the air and clunking loudly to the ground. You gasped, tears springing to your eyes.
"If you didn't like me, y-you could've just said so! I paid so much money, I-"
Then you were swept into his warm arms. You face was buried in his chest, and you could feel his fast heartbeat and hear his ragged breaths. Then he whispered unheard words into your hair.
Then he pushed you away, and slapped you, SO FREAKING HARD.
"WHY WOULD YOU USE YOUR MONEY LIKE THAT?! ON ME?! OF ALL PEOPLE?! You stupid idiot! Don't waste your money! You need it! You did not have to do that!" He yelled, posture filled with concern and anguish.
You held your cheek, and the tears were set free. "I-I'm so sorry... I thought... I was just not good enough... You wouldn't let anyone in, so why me? I... Thought maybe if I got something for you, you would like me back... I...."
Then again, his comforting arms reached out to you and buried you. You cried silently, pain from everything melting in. He then held your slapped cheek, pecked it super quickly, then said softly, "You don't have to get me anything. You're already worth the world to me. You're priceless, (name). You have no idea how long I was hoping you'd do that..."
You smiled into his shirt, and he cradled you, as the sun disappeared on the horizon.
------
EXTENDED ENDING GURLS
You strolled down the street, Silver right beside you. You looked down, happily interested in everything that your eyes met. Then they wandered to Silver's wrist.
Your watch.
"Silver, " you said, pointing to his wrist, "Is that?..."
He flushed uncontrollably, "N-no!"
"You really went all the way across the street the next day after I confessed just to fetch it?" Then he sighed in defeat, and nodded.
Then you hugged him tightly, "Thanks! My money didn't go to waste!"
And he just smiled, a tiny grin on his lips, as he bent down to peck your hair gently.
