Ancient Goddess of Snow

She was the type of girl who made the earth quake
Glancing ever so slightly she could freeze the very air itself
If she spared you a single look you'd shiver convulsive
You'd feel like a small squeaky mouse

Her eyes were as dark as the night
Skin glowed under the moon's light
Hair flowed as she was one with water
Her body was like that of a virtuous Goddess

Her lips were as red as the sun during sunset
Like a cold desolate mountain, no one moved her heart
She stood alone
Gazing into the distant

Her sun kissed skin turned a vibrant color as the night came
The moon, her friend, had arrived at long last
She danced slowly and deliberately
Shaking to the rhythm of her heart beat

Dancing to her ancestors tune
Celebrating in the joys of life
Singing the ancient songs of her people
Gazing into the distant
