Lightening struck his heart
His face became pale white
Sweat permeated from his forehead
Breathing in weak rasp breaths

When he closed his eyes it wasn't God who
Took him by his hands
Lifted him into the air
And led him into his holy kingdom

It was the infamous fallen angel
The ruler of hell
The destructor
He who had forsaken his savior and provider

The man squirmed relentlessly as if he knew
Lucifer was the one who had come
That he would spend eternity in the abyss
That Hell would become his newfound home

Screaming
Shouting
And pleading to his merciful God
But he knew that God had made up his mind

His only resting place was that of hell
After his conclusion was made he was silent
Bending down, the man kissed the soil a last
He smiled at Lucifer as if finally in realization

Lucifer oddly smiled back
With the soul in hand they descended into hell
Resolution played in the man's eyes
He regretted nothing and gave a sinister smile
