The shot.

*************************************

Once I let go, I instantly hear everyone drop their weaponds, and a high pitched scream.

"We will continue this later, Ashe!" She spits and I ready for another shot. But the small pieces of snow that highlighted Lissandra are gone. I only had one shot, and I failed. Jinx, however ran after the enemy team as they retreated, how stupid of her.

But one slim figure stood out from the blizzard. He had not retreated nor battled, but he was definitely with the ice witch.

"Hey." He says casually, like there was no war at all. Even though it lasted 40 seconds it still was one!

"Approach." I say confidently as he steps forward into eyesight.

As he steps closer and closer I hear everybody draw their weapons again.

My breath hitches like its caught in my throat. I remember. He was an ally of the Freljord before he chose power over hope. His blond hair now grey and his blue eyes more pale than before.

He looked at me, knowing who I was and smiled.

"Ah, Ashe. Didn't even know it was you!" He said cheerfully, obviously forgetting that he was on one team and I was on the other.

"Hello, Ezreal. What would you like?" I say more irritated that polite. I drop my bow down by my leg, but keep the arrow there.

"Got any openings into your 'goody goody team'?" He says arrogantly, his posture becoming more straight than it was.

"Let me see, you are from the enemy team, you look different and probably has  changed your personality. I'll think about it." I say as arrogant as I can before walking off leaving him in the snow.

I wall inside the grand frost castle where I live. It looks more like a palace than a castle. I check outside to see if Ezreal is still there. My breathing becomes irregular again as I stare you the window to see him sitting on the ground, watching something in the distance. I grab some warmer cloths and go outside ready to confront Ezreal about my decision. I know it's the wrong one but my head thinks otherwise.

"Ez, would you like to come inside?" I ask hesitantly, hoping he wouldn't hear it.

" Are you actually doing something nice, Ashe?" He says turning to face me, his pale eyes shining in the moon. It was as if the whole world was disappearing and all that mattered was his eyes.

"Yes, now take the offer before I regret it!" I snap, making the smile on his face disappear. He stands up and faces me. my eyes on his and his eyes on mine. My breathing started to slow. My heartbreak was loud enough that you can hear it as if Sejuani's hog ran past.

He reached over and grabbed my hand, entwining my fingers with his, as he leans in close to my face.

"Only if I stay with you, Frosty." He says in a flirtatious manor. I quickly draw my hand back feeling little tingles of heat in my hand.

"Arg, fine! But you are sleeping on the floor!" I say hoping he wouldn't hear the excitment in my voice. I show him too my room as we make slight conversations to keep it from being awkward.

"We're here." I say flatly. He smiles and pulls me into a hug.

"Thanks Ashe, you're the best." He says making himself comfortable on my bed!

I shake my head and walk into my changer. Quickly changing into some pajamas, and grabbing some extra cloths out for Ezreal, I get under the blankets of my bed and shove the cloths under Ezreal's face.

"Go get changed!" I order.

"Yes, mother!" He calls back while taking his electric blue t-shirt off. I have to admit his six pack was better looking than Jayce's six pack. Not that I was looking or anything... He notices that I am watching him and he lifts his arms over his head and pretends to stretch, showing off more of his muscular body, as cocky as he is. I scold myself for invading privacy and close my eyes. The last thing I felt before going to bed was someone pulling me close wrapping their arms around me then the bed dipping from another person's weight as the person exhales.
