The food is absolutely delicious, although for the sake of manners I try not wolf it down. The other members seem as engrossed as I am and the conversation dulls to a lull as we all take the time to enjoy our dinners. Despite attempting not to inhale the luxurious food, I finish quickly.

Jungkook is almost done too, but he is momentarily distracted from his meal, and gazes at me intently. I shift a little uncomfortably in my seat.

"Noona," he begins hesitantly, still squinting at me as if he was trying to recognize me. "By any chance, have you ever studied taekwondo?"

I am taken aback by this sudden question. "Pardon?"

He seems reluctant to continue, especially under the curious scrutiny of the other members. "I just- I used to train in taekwondo, and you look a little familiar. I was just wondering..."

I nod, a little surprised that he would recognize me, since I don't remember him at all to be honest.

Jungkook smiles. "It is you. Are you still as lethal with your roundhouse kick as you were in middle school? Sometimes I still feel splinters in my hands from holding the boards that you broke."

I gasp, memories coming back to me. It's not like we were ever close, but there have been some funny moments at the studio.

"Did you ever master any trick kicks?"

He laughs. "No! It was your fault! You scared me out of learning them for the longest time after I nearly broke my leg trying to imitate your '540'."

"Jinjja?" J-Hope scoffs. "Jungkook-ah, you B-Boyed, of course you know some tricks."

"Yes," he admits sheepishly. "But I never did master the 540. Or any other kick really, asides from Tornado. Do you still train, Hyun-Ae-noona?"

"Aniyo," I sigh sadly. "I stopped after I received my second degree black belt to focus on school and pursue other hobbies. My little sister Hye-Joo still practices though."

"Aw. I was hoping to try to learn again. If you're ever free, do you think you could help me later? It isn't super important, but I think it would improve my dancing and trick moves a lot if I learned a few show-off kicks."

Jungkook asks a little shyly, as if he's not used to asking for help from anybody. He seems a little withdrawn, and in that sense, he kind of reminds me of Haneul, my little brother.

I giggle. "How about I teach you some moves while I teach Taehyung-ssi English?"

"And while you're at it, could you tutor me in Japanese?" Jin jokes.

The conversation picks up quickly again, and though we talk about little nothings, the boys are so open and friendly, it almost feels like I've known them my whole life.

Suga's phone is constantly going off with notifications, but he doesn't seem to notice. At first I ignore them as well, but they are persistent and I worry that they might be important.

"Yoongi-oppa? You might want to check your phone?"

He does and sighs. "I have to go," he announces. "Manager-hyung wants me back at the studio. I'll be back at the dorm later tonight. I'm sorry, Hyun-Ae, I'll have to make this up to you later." He tosses his keys at Jin. "You can take the car, hyung. I'll take the bus back to the dorm."

Suga ruffles my hair as he leaves. Rap Monster tsks and downs the rest of his drink. "Yoongi-hyung has been working so hard on his mix tape lately, I really hope he isn't too stressed."
