Falling for You (BTS Jimin Fanfiction)

Part 5

Jungkook's POV:

I sigh wistfully as I watch Jimin-hyung chase after Hyun-Ae-noona. She's even prettier now than she was in middle school. I've been in awe of her skill since I began training at the studio. And... somewhere along the line, my admiration slipped into infatuation, though I was always too shy to do anything about it. It's too late now, I suppose. We haven't seen each other in a long time. She didn't even really remember me, and she has a boyfriend now. I respect that. So I don't do anything as Jimin-hyung catches up to her, drapes his coat over her shivering frame, and walks her to the bus stop. 

I turn away from the sight and get into the car, next to V-hyung.

"Jungkook-ah? Are you okay? You seem a little quiet," Taehyung asks, concerned.

"It's nothing. I'm just a little tired, that's all."

Jimin's POV:

Stupid stupid stupid that was so stupid why would I kiss her hand? My cheeks are aflame, as they have been since the incident on the bus. I hope she didn't notice what she did to me, how I could barely think straight, looking into those beautiful eyes. Lost in thought, I nearly slam my head into a lamp post. 

"Aish, jinjja!" What is wrong with me?

I only just met Hyun-Ae, but there's something so striking about her. I want to learn more, see her more, know her better. As one of Suga-hyung's best friends, of course. Nothing good could come out of a relationship with my best friend's little sister and my brother's coworker.  But I don't have those feelings towards Hyun-Ae anyways. Even though I have to admit that her smile is very endearing and her hair is so glossy I want to touch it and feel how silky it is with my own hands. Her lip biting habit whenever she's thinking or suppressing a laugh is also adorable- ah seriously!

Of course I would be attracted to the first girl I have truly ever interacted with. And she is very attractive and admirable, but that doesn't mean I want to pursue her. Right. She's off-limits and out of bounds. 

But still, I can feel the ghost of her slender hands in mine, the tingles running throughout my body at her touch. I can still hear the echo of her melodic laugh and see the cute way she shyly turned her face away when she blushed. 

And I can't help but hope that maybe she noticed me too.

Rap Monster's POV:

"Hoseok-hyung," I begin casually, as we drive back to the dorm.

"Hmm?" he mumbles, already half asleep.

I smirk. "How much are you willing to bet that Jungkook used to have a crush on Hyun-Ae?"

"Possible, but unlikely," he snorts. "Not really, anyways. He might have found her pretty or thought her kicks were cool or whatever. But he probably didn't have a real crush on her."

"How about the possibility of Jiminie developing feelings for her?"

Hobi-hyung pauses, thinking. 

Personally, from the way Jimin looked at her tonight and at the dinner table, I don't think it would be so unlikely for him to fall for her. Hard. I just hope that it doesn't mess up the dynamic between him and us. And her and Suga.

"How much do you think Suga would mind? You don't think he also secretly has feelings for her, right?" J-Hope asks, entertained by the thought.

"Eh, they seemed to have a completely platonic brother-sister relationship, but I could be wrong. Yoongi-hyung would be protective, I guess, but I'm not sure if he would really mind."

"Then I think the chances of him liking her are very likely."

"Hyung!" I laugh.

"What?" he smiles. "Besides, it's not like anything will actually happen even if he likes her. She has a boyfriend, remember? And that guy was Suga's best friend before us and Jimin."

"I suppose. I want to see Hyun-Ae again, but at the same time I don't. I don't want the members to be distracted, but at the same time... is it wrong that I want to watch how this will all unfold?"

J-Hope chuckles again, smirking slightly. "I think we all do, Namjoon-ah. And I bet if you ask Jin-hyung, he'll feel the same. This is going to be interesting."
