Chapter 2 - Baka Tsukasa

Yume Pov

I opened the door to my new room, and sat on the charging chair. My new annoying partner stepped in. "Um I'm home" he announced. Seriously, he doesn't have to say that. I can see that he is home.

He is such a baka. I can't even believe how stupid he is. Today in work he was just like "What why are you already back?", like so stupid. Obviously because I finished. Why did I have to be partnered with HIM!!

"Um Yume? I was thinking we could maybe go to the Amusement park together sometime... So What do you say?" My partner asked me.

I wonder what was at the Amusement park? Did we get some retrieval job or something?

"What business do we have there?" I asked, turning my head to face him.

"It's not work, It's just for you know fun." He said his smile faltering.

For fun? Seriously? I was made for retrievals not for playing in an Amusement park!

"I'm not made to play in an Amusement park!!" I yelled. Tsukasa was really a big baka. DO I really have to explain everything to him!! UGH! I thought he has been here for 10 months, and he still doesn't clearly understand the role of a spotter??

It must have been a miracle for him to even accomplish one retrieval! I bet his partner was also always very mad at him.

"Um Yum—" Tsukasa started.

"Hmp!" I replied before he could continue.

Tsukasa Pov

Why is she so mad at me? Did I do something bad? Well, I guess Isla was also not responding to me at the beginning... Isla... I shook my head, I shouldn't keep thinking about her. She was... She is in the past. I have to think in the future. Isla would want that.

At Least she's talking to me right? That's better then no words. I think...

Maybe I should also do the thing I did with Isla and say I have to buy something for a person at work? I guess I could try. It worked with Isla, I hope it works with Yume...

Next day after retrieval... In the car.

"So, Yume I have to buy a present for a co-worker will you come with me?" I questioned, hoping she would say yes.

"Go yourself." Yume said coldly.

"Ok! Its set we will go our next day off!!" I Exclaimed. Yes she accepted! Wait a second did she? I wasn't actully listening... Well that was stupid, demo I'm sure she said yes, well I hope.

"I said GO YOURSELF YOU BAKA!!!" Yume screamed.

"Yeah I kn— Eh!? NANI!???" I said shocked. She said no! Now what I'm going to do... She's never going to warm up to me at this rate.

Well, I can't give up... well not yet at least...

"You really are an baka aren't you! HMP!!" She yelled and going out of the car.

Well there she went again... Just like yesterday...
