Chapter 2

Hey guys! I'm really sorry about the really late update, but you know it's Christmas break. But I promise (and I'm for real) that I will try to make as many chapters as possible before I start school again.

Nicky's POV

After my third period class, I plugged in my headphones and listened to "This Town" by Niall Horan. I know I know you must be thinking "why are you listening to girls music??" Well not everything is for girls! Am I right or am I right? Anyways, I then walked towards the lunch room to get something to eat. I hope it's spicy teriyaki chicken and rice day! When it was my turn to get lunch, I cheered in my mind that I was right for today's lunch.

As I was walking to where I'd normally sit, I ran into someone and my food landed all over me and some got on the floor. I looked around and saw everyone looking and starting to laugh. I looked up and saw that it was Jared chuckling and walking back to his seat where is friends were.

I was starting to get upset with them, so I opened my chocolate milk and started walking towards them. I gently tapped Jared on the back and when he turned around, I took that opportunity to throw the milk in his face.

Then the whole cafeteria went silent, and finally someone decided to shout "OOOOH" as if I was in trouble. I looked back towards Jared and saw the worst face anyone and I mean anyone could be terrified of. So I gently poured the rest of the chocolate milk on him and threw the milk carton at him and high tailed it out of there.

Before I turned the corner, I saw Jared running after me yelling "Get back here you little bitch! I'm going to kill you!!" So I quickly ran down the hall and into an empty classroom and heard loud footsteps coming down the hall. I ducked under the window so he can't see me. I heard the footsteps suddenly stop by the door. I hold my breath and quickly prayed that I didn't get caught.

Then I heard his footsteps walk away. I let out the air that I held in and slowly stood up taking a quick glance out the window and seeing him turn the corner. I opened the door slightly and then I was quickly pulled back into the room. I turned around and saw that it was Jared. How the hell did he get in?

"There's another door idiot." he said.

"Oh... Well you see, I was just heading out you know get to class before the bell rings." I tried turning around towards the door, but I was pulled right back in front of him. And let me tell you, I was really close like mostly face to face almost lip to lip.

"Listen, this is just going to be between me and you. Got it?"

"What do you me-" then suddenly he kisses me. I stood there shocked and I didn't know what to do so I just pushed at his shoulders to get him off of me. Like wtf he can't just go kissing me after you've beaten me up repeatedly!! So the only thing I could do was slap him. So I did.

"What the h e double hockey sticks is wrong with you?!?!"

He just stared at me saying nothing, like what just happened didn't happen. Then his face softened. What the f u c k? What is wrong with him??

"I'm sorry ok. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just wanted to fit in."

"Sorry doesn't take four years of beating away does it? And I don't even care if you want to fit in with your so called buddies. I hate you."

"No please I'll make it up to you! I've actually had a crush on you for a while now.."

After hearing that, my face turned into 50 shades of red. Omg...I just made a really stupid reference from 50 shades of grey. Kill me..

I looked up at him and narrowed my eyes at him. "Are you for real or are you joking? Because if you are joking, this, I said pointing between me and him, is never going to happen pal. Got it? Or nah? 'Cause I got to get to class in about three minutes."

"Yes it's real, my feeling for you are real. I promise." he said while holding out his pinky. What are we seven? I just rolled my eyes and hooked my pinky with his then walked out the door.

Jared's POV

After walking towards my usual lunch table with my friends, I saw Nicky walking out of the lunch line with his food looking all hungry at it. And that was my perfect chance to come in and ruin his really perfect time of the day.

As I was walking past him, I "accidentally" rammed my shoulder into him and making his food fall on the floor. I looked back and started laughing, man this kid is too easy. As I sat down, one of my friends, Daniel, says;

"I dare you to fake go out with Nerdy Nicky for the rest of this school year. Then break his heart on the day of graduation. Also make him fall in love with you." I looked at him and smirked.

"I accept your challenge Mr. Daniel Williams." Then we shook hands on it as to make it seem official. When I drew my hand back, I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around and suddenly felt a cold drink be splashed into my face.

Then the whole cafeteria went silent. But then some stupid idiot decided to shout "OOOOH" and I turned and glared at him. Which shut him up just like that. When I looked back towards Nicky, he poured the rest of his milk on me and threw the carton at me.

Next thing I feel is a quick gust of wind and looked up just in time to see Nicky running towards the cafeteria doors. I stood up so fast turning towards his running figure and just before he turned the corner, I shouted

"Get back here you little bitch!! I'm going to kill you!" Then started to chase after him, turning the corner that he did. As I was running through the hall, I heard a door close. I walked towards the noise and looked through the small window on the door. And there I saw it, the kids shadow right by the door.

I walked around the corner to the other door of the room and slowly opened it, while trying to not make any sound whatsoever. I walked around the desks and saw him open the door ajar (it means a little bit for anyone who doesn't know) and slowly start to walk out. But I grabbed his bag and drew him back into the room.

When he turned around, his expression was most likely confusion. So I decided to say,

"There's another door idiot." Then his expression changed into an "ohh" kind of one. Then when he finally starts talking, he's talking about all this bullshit "oh.. well I need to get to class to not be late". And when he turned back towards the door, I turned him right back towards me.

"Listen, this is going to be between just you and me. Got it?" He looked confused and asked "What do you me-" (ok is it just me or did anyone else think of "What do you mean?" by Justin Bieber?) But I cut him off and kissed him. Then I felt pressure on my shoulders and was suddenly pulled away. I looked towards him and then SLAP. My head turned side ways and I was thinking what the fuck?

When I looked back at him, and I pretended to act sorry for what I did.

(I'm just going to skip the conversation between them because it's already in Nicky's POV.)

When he drew his hand back away from our little pinky promise and turned walking towards the door, I just stood there smiling.

This is going to be the easiest dare that I have ever taken. Then I grabbed my bag and started walking to my next period. Just chuckling and thinking of what I should do next.
