Moonlight

The sun was setting as we arrive at the pier. It was quite warm despite the normally chilly weather. Maybe it's the warm sand covering my toes or Namjoon's closeness.

Speaking of Namjoon, he currently has my hand in his starring down as our interlocked fingers sitting on his knee. His eyebrows are bundled slightly as if he's in deep thought. "Jin," He speaks after a moment of silence.

"Hmm?"

"A-Am I weird?"

The question catches me off guard. Not only did his voice shake but he sounded vulnerable at that very moment. I imminently shake my head. "No! Of course not, why would you ask that?" He looks up at me and I notice a light sparkle under his eye. "Ah, Namjoon," I scoot closer and wrap my arms around his shoulder pulling him into a hug.

He wraps his arms around my waist, squeezing me. "Sometimes I feel like people think I'm weird when I keep to myself."

I pull back from him slightly, wiping his tear with my thumb. "There's nothing wrong with being weird Namjoon, being weird is what sets you apart from this world. Don't think about what other people may think, just be yourself." I smile as his dimples show.

"Thank you Jin," He pressed his lips to mine quickly, before going back to hug me. "You're a great boyfriend."

I think he was blushing.
