Margie's P.O.V
When he wrapped his arm around me, I felt something like fireworks tingling in my chest. Maybe, just maybe he likes me back......

The scene we walk into at JC's house is almost too much to process in my brain.
Tsunami by Dvvbs is playing so loud the sound is virtually pouring out of the speakers.
Winnie is on Ricky's shoulders, covered in silly string. Connor, Jaylyn and Joe-felix are in the kitchen throwing all sorts of candy, nuts, and other unidentified food items at eachother while spraying eachother with whipped cream. Lily is chasing Winnie around the living room now, while she sprays the little dog with silly string.
JC is still standing in the doorway, mouth hung open. I snap out of my daze and walk over to the the speaker and hit 'off' abruptly.
"What the fuck!?" I am about to say, but eyeing Jaylyn and Joe-felix I quickly correct myself and say "What the hell is going on here?!?" staring at everyone in disbelief but am secretly laughing my ass off in my mind on how stupid everything looks. "I would like to know that myself." a familiar voice says behind JC says.
Mama Caylen. Her heels click on the tile walking towards me, and puts a hand on my shoulder. "Now because this lovely lady and Justin got you food I suggest you eat so you don't starve and then clean this mess up until everything shines. You guys help them." pointing a finger to JC and back to me.
JC puts his hands up and exclaims "But we didn't do anything, Mom!"
"You will help them Justin. Come on everyone. Lets go eat outside." she replies.
Winnie smiles and jumps on Ricky's shoulders, squealing as he carries her to the backyard while Connor starts tickling Joe-felix and follows Ricky.
Mama Caylen grabs the bag of food from JC's hand and walks towards the back door.
JC smirks at me. "Want a ride?" I shrug and reply "Sure, why not?" while he bends down and I put my legs over his shoulders and he carries me to the backyard.

After everyone finished eating and cleaning Connor suggested that we watch a movie and for me and Winnie to stay over because it was getting late. Winnie's mom ended up allowing her to stay for as long as she wanted to, something my mom would never allow.
We are all sitting around the living room fighting on which movie to watch when we hear music blasting from the yard. I recognize the song as Something that I want by Grace Potter from Tangled, Ricky seems to recognize it too because he laughs and says "Now I wonder who that could be!" and we all head to the yard only to find Jaylyn dancing around to the music and actually shes pretty good for a 12 year old. Ricky, Winnie, Connor and JC look at eachother but I shrug and run over next to her and start jamming out to the song with her.
She said, "I want something that I want

I sing along with the lyrics and soon enough Winnie, Ricky and JC joined me while Connor takes an instagram video of all of us and heads back inside shaking his head, laughing while the rest turn on Lady Gaga's Do what U Want and keep dancing around the backyard until Mama Caylen comes out telling Jaylyn its time for bed. By that time we are exhausted from dancing and crash on the couch, out of breath.
Connor looks up from his phone and says "Because we couldn't decide on a movie I just picked Mean Girls. That cool?" We all reply with "Yeah"s and "Sure"s. Ricky seems excited and I am too. I haven't seen Mean Girls in so long.
"Well." JC says "I guess I'll go get some popcorn." getting up from the couch. "I'll help." Connor says. Ricky sits up "I will too." and they all disappear into the kitchen.
"Well that was weird" Winnie says. I nod "Tell me about it.." then we both look back at our phones. It was weird. I wonder what they're talking about....

JC's P.O.V
"So?" Ricky asks, as we are well out of earshot of the living room "We can tell that you like her, JC you don't have to hide it." Connor says as I open the kitchen cabinet and grab 3 bags of popcorn and put them in the microwave.
"Is it really that noticeable?" I ask, putting my head in my hands. I feel a hand clap my shoulder "Don't worry, JC. Just tell her you like her. Ask her out!" Ricky says. That easy huh? I think to myself.
"But what if she doesn't like me back?" I ask. Connor replies first before Ricky can answer "Then she doesn't know what she's missing, right?" I nod as the microwave starts beeping and I take out the steaming, buttery popcorn into 3 bowls. One for Margie and me, One for Ricky and Winnie and smaller one for Connor. "C'mon, lets go watch the movie." Ricky says and we head back to the living room.

I lay on the couch with Margie sitting on the other end, hugging her knees to her chest. Ricky and Winnie are cuddled on the floor in a blanket while Connor is in the oversized lounge chair half asleep.
I can tell Margie is shivering so I gently touch her forearm and bring her into my arms, laying back down again with her. She smiles at me. The warmth of her body is comforting, I put my hand around her waist and watch the rest of the movie with her in my arms.

When the movie is over, Connor is asleep in the chair, Ricky and Winnie went up to the guest room and Margie is fast asleep in my arms. Should I wake her? I think to myself. No. I decide to carry her to my room to let her sleep so I gently scoop her up bridal style and carry her carefully to my room, I walk in and kick the door closed before laying her down on the bed. She stirs a little but quickly becomes still. I walk over to my closet and take off my tight t-shirt and replace it with a black pullover hoodie and then slide into bed next to Margie and falling into a restless sleep.
