Justin’s POV

I groaned rolling over reaching for my phone checking the caller ID seeing Scooter’s name flash on the screen.

"Hello" I said in my raspy voice trying not to wake up Selena who was sleeping peacefully next to me. "Justin-" I cut him off telling him to wait one second as I slowly rolled out of bed heading towards the door to the hotel hallway only to be stopped hearing my name being called.

"Justin where are you going?" I turned around to see Selena propping up on her elbow looking at me. "Shh baby go back to sleep I’m just on the phone with Scooter" she nodded quickly and slumped back down onto the pillow as I left the room.

"What?" I snapped into the phone. "There’s a better way to say what you know" Scooter said. "And there’s a better way of waking me up, which involves don’t" I snapped back at him.

"Your damn ring is here so either you come and get it or I’m throwing it out" he said and I told him that I was on my way down.

As I reached down to his hotel room I knocked on the door to be quickly opened and revealed a tired Scooter and a box in his hand.

"Ugh I hope she says yes" I mumbled as I opened the box revealing the ring I ordered online the other day when Selena came.

"Don’t worry little man. She’ll say yes" Scooter said rubbing my shoulder. "How do you know? Oh my god what if she says no and breaks up with me?" I started to freak out only to be stopped by Scooter.

"Justin stop. Selena loves you more than anything. She will say yes" he said and I calmed down a little.

"Now go upstairs before she wakes up and I’ll make the reservations for tonight" he told me and I simply nodded. "Make sure it’s nice and fancy" I told him as I stepped back into the hallway. "No ill make you guys go to McDonald’s" he replied adding the extra sarcasm. "Ha ha ha funny" I glared at him before I left to go back to my hotel room.

"What took you so long?" Selena asked as I walked in, she looked like she just woke up. "Sorry I had to go to Scooter’s room for a minute" I quickly hid the ring box behind my back wishing I left it in the package it was in before.

"What’s behind your back?" She asked. Shit.

"Nothing" I said rather too quickly as she raised an eyebrow at me.

"I thought we were done with the lies Justin" she said sitting up a little as she was still in the bed.

"We are I swear" I told her only to be asked again what was behind my back.

"I’ll tell you later, I promise" I said as I made my way towards her to give her a kiss only to be pulled down onto the bed with her landing on top of me. Thank god I was lying on top of the box.

"Justin what is behind your back? You know I don’t like people, especially you, keeping secrets behind my back" she said as she was sitting on my crotch.

"You know I really like the position" I put a smirk on my face trying to change the subject only to earn a glare from Selena.

"I’m going to ask one more time, what is behind your back?" She asked with a straight face. "Ok if I tell you will you stop asking?" I asked her and she nodded.
