The view from above is even more terrifying.

Only a few buildings are still intact, the rest look like big skeletons, a dead carcass of what had once bloomed. There are bodies all over the ground and you can still see the points where something exploded. The spots remind you of huge meteor crates, just that the sight brings back the memories.

The mysterious sniper seems to notice and tightens her hold on you reassuringly, almost as if she wanted to show you that she would not drop you.Clinging closer to her body, you feel the air blow through your hair and watch mesmerized how her silk-ish hair flows in the air. If this was a movie, you thought, the next thing that would happen is that we escape together and marry each other somewhere. The thought makes you blush and shake your head, still, you couldn't help but stare at her beauty.

Your stare causes her to turn her head and look at you irritated.Seeing you smiling at her, confuses her even more.
The ground comes closer as you reach the edge of the city. The grass is burnt and sometimes it's still burning. You weren't exactly sure if it was a good idea to step or even walk on it.

She carefully puts you on your feet, almost like your bones would break if she was not careful. With a last glance over the shoulder, she disappears, leaving you with confused thoughts and an aching feeling in your heart behind.
