Chapter 7
As soon as the helicopter started moving and it's sounds got quieter and quieter until nothing could be heard, you find yourself sitting alone in what appeared to be the storage room.
The only thing you could hear was the loud thumping of your own heart, which seemed unreal loud to you. Your eyes try to cut through the darkness while you stay alert.
However, nothing happens. Your presence seems to have gone unnoticed but you still stay in your hiding place until you can't feel your feet anymore and decide that it's finally time to move on.
You start crawling towards the exit ramp while holding your breath, your goal still in mind.
You wanted to see and talk to her. Maybe even make sure she was alright.
But who were you kidding?
You had been worried about her since the day she had spared your life.
Since then the feelings had only become stronger.
The sun hits your eyes and blinds you momentarily.
As your sight becomes clearer, you find yourself standing in front of a huge building.
To your luck, no one seemed to be around, which made it easier for you to get nearer to the building.
With every step a feeling grew inside you, guiding your attention to one special window.
You knew that the person you were looking for was behind it.
The only problem?
It was on the fifth floor.
