Chapter Five - Trust

Chapter Five

Sam's POV

I was pacing my room, waiting for a call that I would probably never get from Jade. I finally gave up, grabbing my phone and pressing Jesy's contact.

I waited for it to ring. I was beginning to grow frustrated, but right when I though she wouldn't pick up she did.

"Hey Sam," she greeted through the phone.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Erm, nothing, just eating lunch with the girls," she said awkwardly.

"So... is Jade with you?" I asked.

"Yeah, why?"

Why hasn't Jade called me, if she's just eating lunch? Did she really already forget about me? "Can I talk to her for a sec?"

A couple seconds later, I heard the voice I haven't heard in what seemed like light years.

"Hey Sammy!" she greeted excitedly.

"Does he make you happy?" I asked bluntly.

"What are you - "

"- You haven't answered me in almost two days. I was beginning to get worried. Then I saw the picture of you and Mike," I stated, trying to sound angry, but it came out as if I felt broken. Which I did.

Jade's POV

"No, Sam, you've got it all wrong!" I said, walking away from the group, which consisted of the rest of Little Mix and the dancers, who were eating lunch. They all stared at me with confusing looks.

"Oh do I?" he replied sarcastically.

"Sam!" I snapped "Are you being serious?! Are you really going to not believe me? What about when I though you were cheating?" There was silence from the other end.

"Now can you please listen to what I have to say?" I asked.

"Mhmm," he hummed in response.

"Okay," I sighed with relief,"So the reason I didn't reply to you was because I had broke my phone. I didn't know where to get one, so Mike showed me where. Thats it, trust me Sam."

There was silence from the other end. Finally Sam spoke,"Are you sure?"

"Yes! I'm upset with the fact that I have to convince you," I replied. How could he think I would cheat on him? Especially after all we have been through?

"I'm sorry Jade. I just... it just made sense."

"What do you mean?"

"You're traveling the world and we are barely going to see each other. Eventually, you'll find a better guy than me. I'll be forgotten," he stated, sadness laced in his tone.

Shock filled my face,"Sammy, I could never forget about you! I love you! But you have to have trust in me."

"I do. I feel stupid for even thinking such a thing. I'm sorry Jade."

"It's okay," I said.

"And ever since the problem with Alex, you know I've been a bit more over protective," he sighed. I cringed at the sound of her name.

"I know," I replied.

"Just do me a favor? Please call me. I was worried something happened, or if you were with - "

" - Gotcha. Ill text you on my new phone now. Just save the contact. Love you," I said.

"Love you too." Then the line went dead. I sighed, walking back to the table where everyone was.

"What happened?" asked Perrie.

"Um, nothing," I lied. Perrie gave me and unconvinced look, as did Leigh and Jesy.

After we ate, Leigh came up to me. As we walked back to our hotel room.

"Hey Poopey," she said, linking arms,"Can I talk to you?"

"Sure, what about?" I asked, even though I obviously knew what this was about.

"You looked pretty upset after your phone call, you alright?"

"Yeah, just a little bit worried," I shrugged.

"How so?" she asked.

"Well," I looked around, making sure Mike wasn't near us,"I'm worried about Sam and I. Ever since what happened with Alex, Sam has been kind of nervous. I'm worried he doesn't have trust."

"In you?"

"Not really me, but trust in this... situation. He's worried about everything, from something bad happening to me, to me cheating. But with a relationship like ours, we both need trust," I replied, as I blinked back tears.

"Well, can you blame him?" she asked.

"No, but he just needs to relax I guess. The distance between us is getting to him."

"Look Jade, Sam just needs to get back to how it used be. Before Alex. When we went places, and all he had was trust," she stated.

"But how do we get back to that?" I asked. I was worried as heck for Sam and I's relationship. Why couldn't he just forget about what happened?

"It's gonna just take time I guess," said Leigh.

"Yeah, I guess so," I said, agreeing with her. Leigh-Anne was right, Sam just needs time to cool off.

GUYS I KNOW THIS IS A REALLY SHORT CHAPTER I'M SORRY ERG

(But it was kind of important)

I was having a bit of writers block. I know what I want to happen, just having a little trouble getting there :/ BUT I WILL GET OUT IF IT SOON, PINKY PROMISE!

And can I just say how adorable it is that Sam and Jade went to Egypt together :') and all the photos that were in that one pic jade poster DAWWWWWWW OTP OTP OTP!
