Chapter Six - Rain Check

Chapter Six

**A Couple Months Later**

Jade's POV

"Oi Jade!" I heard Perrie call from the dressing room.

"Yeah?"

"Eyeliner! Where is it?" she shouted back.

I laughed, remembering when she lost her eyeliner during our first tour. Why was it always eyeliner? "Check in the drawer Pez!"

"I did!"

Suddenly I heard her sigh with frustration. I giggled to my self. Then I heard her open the drawer and shuffling.

"Never mind," she said, poking her head through the door. I rolled my eyes playfully, causing her to chuckle. I got up from where I was, walking into the dressing to room, and plopping my self down on the small couch. Perrie began to carefully put on her eyeliner, as I played a game on my iPhone.

"I can't believe it's the last show!" pouted Leigh-Anne, walking in.

"I know right, but at least we get to start the Salute tour when we get back," I replied. I smiled at the thought. I couldn't believe we were doing an arena tour! It was mental!

"Can't wait!" Leigh squealed.

"Yeah," I sighed happily, thinking about all the fun we were going to have on tour. I also couldn't wait to see Sam. I haven't seen him since he visited. I honestly missed him so much.

"Finally home," I said as I stepped out of the car. I looked at my flat, a sight I haven't seen in a while now, and began to walk to the front door. I unlocked the door, then stepping in dropping my things on the floor.

The girls and I had a month before the Salute tour would begin. A month full of preparations, interviews, the whole deal. As exciting as it was, I was a bit tired. Thats why I was thankful for this day off I had.

I called Sam, hoping he would pick up, but it went to voice mail.

But before I could even place my phone on the counter, Sam had called back.

"Hey," he said through the phone.

"Hey, do you think we could meet up today?" I asked in a hopeful tone.

"Wait, your back? Thats great!" he replied excitedly.

"I know! So can we meet up? I miss you a lot." There was silence on the other end for a bit.

"No," he sighed,"I'm so sorry, the guys and I are working on a new dance at the moment. Can I take a rain check?"

"But I wanna see you," I pouted.

"Maybe tomorrow?"

I answered,"No, now I have to take a rain check. I've got two interviews tomorrow. But we can the day after tomorrow?"

"Yeah, sounds great. Can't wait, love you."

"Love you," I said before he hung up. I was kinda upset. I had to wait two days to see my boyfriend. I understood why though. We both have big jobs, so we had to deal with it I guess.

"So!" said the perky interviewer,"You've got your Salute tour starting next month, that's pretty exciting!"

"Yes! We are very excited," replied Jesy, speaking what we were all thinking.

"I'm sure you all are going to miss your boyfriends," the interviewer pouted,"How do you guys make that work?"
