Chapter Three

“It isn't funny." I said walking over to the sink and taking some paper towel to dry off the stained pants

"well....." I see her laughing in the inside "What happened to you?" she asks looking at my pants with humor

"Oh, Elizabeth ran into me and spilled my coffee." I said noticing that it wasn't coming off, "URRGGHH! it not coming off" great,what a prefect thing to start my day

"I think Elizabeth has another pair of jeans in her locker so, Do you know his name?" She asked looking at me with curiosity running all over her face

"His name is James, He just came from Canada...yesterday" I said losing hope of the jeans

"James, I like that name. What part of Canada?" She asked

"Pyro! I don't know, I don't stalk people." I said putting my hands on my hips feeling offended

"Sure you don't." she said giggling away

" I don't" I said looking at her to see her giving me a don't lie to me Aquamarine face "ffiiinne, maybe but not that much" I said feeling defeated.

"Wait did you say yesterday! why would he be at Rocky's then?"

"I dont know, But we should be careful." I said taking more paper towel

"Yea, and we need tell Elizabeth also." she said looking at me with a hard look

"Well how are we going to tell her, we cant just tell her about us."

"We kinda already know that. I'll do it then." She said in deep thought

"Okay well I should get back to class and see about changing these pants." I said

"Oh it does look that bad." she said I smiled having some hope. We walked together until we had to part ways. I hugged her and headed back to class. As I open the door to go back to the theater, I run into James, he takes hold of my wrist and looks at me.

"I'm sorry." I said pulling my wrist away from him, not wanting to make any contact with him

"Nnnnaww, its fine, Where's the library?"

‘ Looking at the school map everyone gets when they're new” Seeing his him holding the map in his right hand.

"Can't read it." His eyes seem to almost have a spark in them. I didn't know whether to take it as a good thing or as a bad thing.

"Go straight down the hallway then take a right when you finish passing all the freshmen lockers go to your right then go up the stairs, When you reach the top of the stairs, keep going until the last two rooms and you'll see the library in the middle of those two rooms." I said checking my breath

"yeah, I might not remember that." He said looking at me

"Ummm, go to the office they'll find someone to take you there, I have to go practice for a part. " I said feeling disappointed eyes on me

"What part are you audition for?" he asked crossing his arm on his chest looking interested in the question

"umm.... not that it isn't none of your business but I want to audition for Juliet." I said arching my right eyebrow

"Well, that's a hard role to get, But you might be lucky if you know what I mean." he said giving me a wink and walking straight. I stood there shocked and confused, what did he mean by that.I walked back to class to see Elizabeth on the phone texting away while our friends were all around her talking to each other. As I walk towards them I see my friends look at me in amazement.

"What?" I asked as I stop in front of them

"Are you feeling okay?" Asked Luce, Luce was my friend since I was little she had black long hair down to her waist, a whitish pale skin with blue eyes. She was very mysterious sometimes.

"I don't know, I think we should take her to the nurse." Said Luce's boyfriend Jack He had light brown hair, brown eyes and tannish skin, mostly since he just got back from a Brazil.

“I’m fine guys, Chill.”I said standing next to Elizabeth who was texting away.

“So did you meet the new guy? said Jack wiggling his eyebrows

“huh… yeah.” I said turning to face Elizabeth trying to hid a small grin “Um, I'm going to the Piano room. wanna come?”

“no I’ll stay here, gotta get to know Mr.Sexy.” She smiled giving me a hug and walking over to James….wait! when did he get here! I grabbed my bag and headed for the Piano room. As I opened the door Marine was on the other side.

“May I ask why you aren’t in your Art class?” I said raising my left eyebrow

“Great! Mother two is on the job today.” She said walking towards the music section while rolling her brown eyes at me. I stood there, with my jaw open. Oh hell no!

“Marine you get your sorry ass over here! Mira a esta chica! Soy demasiado joven para ser madre!” I say walking past her

“No hablando Ingles.” trying to do a good latin accent oh lord!

“Girl, get your Spanish right, its hablo not hablando, what’s your grade in spanish?” I asked walking towards the Piano room shaking my hands, sitting up straight and trying to play “Midnight Ride”

“C+ but I’m working on it, hey you wanna do my homework?” She said trying to pull a sweet innocent smile on me

“Let me think…….. no, I can help but I'm not going to do it for you.” redoing the song “finneee…..” She said knowing I wasn’t going to try to fight me, I smiled and tried to keep playing. urgghhh wheres the C sharp? I asked myself. ccrrraaacckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! My head shot up looking up.

“what….”

“the hell!!” said Marine standing up looking down at me, I stood up feeling my pulse beat faster.

“Come on, stay behind me.” I said walking towards the door

“Me. Behind you?” She said putting her hands in her hips. I felt a weird feeling run all throughout my body.

“Get. Down. Now!” I said focusing on the sounds. A low breathing could be heard from across the door

“Come out! Come out!” A low rough voice said

“What do you want?” I said my voice trembling, I tried to pull myself together

“It’s Aqua Echevarria right?” I could feel the bad energy around the man

“What do you want?” Said Marine walking next to me

“oh the two water children are together…. Marine how are you?” I heard his footsteps get closer.

“Let’s go!” Marine pulled me with her towards the door, As we turned the door a man in a suit ,hat and sunglasses was putting a gun at us. shit!

“got any ideas?” thought Marine at me

“yeah.” I closed my eyes and thought about the man being lifted up from the floor and thrown at the wall BAAAMM! I opened my eyes to see the man lying on the floor and unconscious.

“Nice one.” said Marine walking over to get our bag and running out of the door. “Marine, wait up.” I stopped her and looked at her scared eyes “How did he know our names and that we’re the ones with the power of water.”

“I don’t…. know” Said Marine has she looked back at the door
